Common questions
Converge vs Upstack: pricing and switching questions
Is Converge cheaper than Upstack?
We can’t tell you, because Converge publishes no prices. Its pricing page says “only pay for what you use” and asks you to book a demo. Upstack Attribution + Signal is $349 a month at 3,000 orders, month to month. Get a Converge quote at your volume and compare like for like.
Where does Converge excel?
Breadth on top of tracking. It documents 15 attribution models, GA4 as a destination, unlimited stores and headless setups, an MCP for asking your data questions in Claude or ChatGPT, and agentic media buying that shifts spend with your approval. If you want software that also buys media, that is Converge’s ground, not ours.
Does Converge do identity resolution?
Yes. Its pricing page lists “flexible, deterministic identity resolution” under conversion tracking. Upstack uses deterministic and probabilistic matching against a graph of 750M+ devices and 150M+ customers and keeps the identity for the customer’s lifetime. Converge doesn’t publish a graph size or how long it keeps an identity.
Does Upstack send events to GA4?
No. GA4 isn’t an Upstack destination, and Converge lists it. If GA4 is where your team reports, that counts in Converge’s favor.
Does Upstack buy media for me?
No. Upstack sends cleaner, identity-resolved events to your ad platforms and reports attribution; your team or agency decides where the budget goes. Converge’s Agentic Media Buying shifts spend for you, with approvals.
How does switching work?
Install the app and connect your platforms; we configure the pipeline. Both tools send server-side conversions, so deduplicate before you run them together, then compare the attribution reads for a week or two before you switch.
