TrackBee Review (2026): What TrackBee Is, How It Tracks Shopify Conversions, Pros and Cons
TrackBee is a Shopify-only server-side tracking app, and one of the tools in our guide to TrackBee alternatives. It sends store events to Meta, Google, TikTok and five other ad platforms, plus Klaviyo and GA4, all on every plan, from $79 a month. It has a 4.8 rating from 8 Shopify reviews and a 30-day trial with no card, but it prices on the revenue it tracks, so stores with a high order value pay more.
We checked TrackBee's site, pricing page, integrations and Shopify App Store listing on October 24, 2026. Upstack makes a competing product, which this review compares honestly, including where TrackBee does better.
TrackBee review: the verdict
| Good fit | Poor fit |
|---|---|
| Shopify stores under about $350K a month in revenue | Stores on WooCommerce or another platform |
| Brands that want GA4 and Klaviyo on the entry plan | Brands with a high order value, where revenue pricing adds up |
| Teams with no developer or Google Tag Manager skills | Teams that want multi-touch attribution reporting |
| Stores that book calls through Calendly or sell through a supported custom checkout | Buyers who want a long public review record before they commit |
Our take. TrackBee does the core job of a server-side tracking app well and keeps it simple: a five-minute setup, every integration on every plan and a generous trial. Its reviews are positive, though there are only eight. The weaknesses are a price that rises with every sale rather than with the work done, no attribution dashboard, and a Shopify-only scope.
What is TrackBee?
TrackBee is built by EC Solutions BV, a Dutch company. Its about page says it was founded in 2022, has 25+ team members and offices in Utrecht, Enschede, San Francisco and Denver, and serves "thousands" of Shopify stores. The founders it names are Bart Valstar, CEO, and Matei Kaplan, CFO. Its Shopify app, listed as "TrackBee Connect," launched on the Shopify App Store on April 13, 2023.
Its website is now trackbee.ai, though its app and support email still use trackbee.io. It sells three products:
- TrackBee Tracking, the server-side tracking app, priced on tracked revenue.
- TrackBee Insights, an AI reporting add-on that works inside Claude or ChatGPT, at $19.99 a month.
- TrackBee Mobile, a mobile app listed in its site navigation.
TrackBee says it builds only for Shopify, by choice: "Shopify native, period," as its about page puts it.
How does TrackBee work?
Server-side events with first-party enrichment
TrackBee sends conversion events from your store's server to each ad platform's API, so purchases still reach Meta, Google and TikTok when a browser pixel is blocked or limited. It enriches each event with first-party shopper, product and cart data, which helps platforms match the event to a person. It runs next to your existing pixels rather than replacing them, per its about page. TrackBee says it recovers "30 to 60%" of the conversions pixels miss; that's its own figure.
On identity, the about page describes "persistent shopper profiles," with the same customer tracked across devices and sessions as one identity. TrackBee doesn't publish how those profiles are matched or how large its data set is.
Klaviyo enrichment
For Klaviyo, TrackBee recognizes visitors that Klaviyo's own tracking misses and sends browse, cart and checkout abandonment events, so more flows trigger, per its integrations page. Klaviyo is included on every plan.
GA4 and other destinations
TrackBee sends events to GA4 through the Measurement Protocol, so you don't need Google Tag Manager for GA4. Calendly bookings become lead events sent to Meta, Google, TikTok and Pinterest, which suits brands that sell through booked calls.
Storefronts, checkouts and subscriptions
It preserves ad click IDs on headless Shopify Hydrogen storefronts and on Funnelish landing pages that hand visitors to Shopify. It tracks orders, add-to-carts and checkout starts from the Lasso, Vertium Scale and CheckyPro custom checkouts, and it detects Juo subscription renewals so they don't count as new ad-driven sales.
TrackBee Insights
Insights connects your TrackBee data to Claude or ChatGPT, so you can ask about ad performance in plain language across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Microsoft Ads and Klaviyo, down to ad set level. TrackBee describes it as "attribution that reconciles what each platform claims." It's an AI assistant over your data, not a multi-touch attribution dashboard.
What does TrackBee integrate with?
Its integrations page lists 19 integrations, all included on every plan:
| Type | Integrations |
|---|---|
| Ad platforms (8) | Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads, Microsoft Ads, ChatGPT Ads, Whop Ads |
| AI assistants (2) | Claude, ChatGPT (for Insights) |
| Email and SMS (1) | Klaviyo |
| Analytics (1) | Google Analytics 4 |
| Lead tracking (1) | Calendly |
| Funnels (1) | Funnelish |
| Storefront and checkout (4) | Shopify Hydrogen, Lasso, Vertium Scale, CheckyPro |
| Subscriptions (1) | Juo |

Whop Ads works differently from the other ad platforms: TrackBee reads revenue, spend, ROAS and CPC from it and measures them against your Shopify orders, rather than sending conversions to it. Notable absences are Reddit, X, Taboola and SMS tools such as Attentive and Postscript.
Setup: what to expect
TrackBee's pitch is a five-minute setup with no developer, and the steps on its integrations page match: sign up at app.trackbee.io, install it on your Shopify store, then connect each platform. There's no setup fee and nothing to maintain in Google Tag Manager. Scale includes personal onboarding.
Two things are worth doing during setup:
- Check deduplication. TrackBee runs alongside your pixels, so confirm in Meta Events Manager that its server events and your browser events are deduplicated rather than counted twice.
- Decide who owns Meta purchases. If Shopify's Facebook & Instagram channel is set to Enhanced or Maximum data sharing, it also sends purchases through the Conversions API. Pick one server-side source.
Support runs on chat and email, with priority chat and WhatsApp on Pro and Scale, weekdays 9:00 to 21:00 and weekends 11:00 to 16:00 CET, per its pricing page.
How much does TrackBee cost?
TrackBee prices on tracked revenue, the revenue of the orders it processes for your store in a month. Start is $79 a month for $25K, Pro $199 for $100K and Scale $449 for $500K, with extra revenue at $6, $1 and $0.75 per $1K, in US dollars and billed every 30 days through Shopify. Every plan has a 30-day free trial with no card, and Insights is $19.99 a month on top. No annual plan was shown.
Because the bill follows revenue, the same 1,000 orders cost $199 a month at a $100 order value and $299 at $200. Our TrackBee pricing guide works through every plan, the break-even points and costs by order value.
TrackBee reviews: what Shopify merchants say
On October 24, 2026, TrackBee had a 4.8 rating from 8 reviews on the Shopify App Store: 7 five-star and 1 four-star. One of the eight has no written comment. The themes across the rest:
- Tracking that works. The most common theme, in 5 of 8 reviews: merchants describe accurate, detailed tracking and enriched data.
- Better ad performance. 3 of 8 credit TrackBee with improved ad results, which are individual experiences rather than controlled tests.
- Support. 2 of 8 praise the team, one naming email and WhatsApp support.
- Ease of use. 2 of 8 mention a clean design or easy setup.
Three caveats. Eight reviews is a small sample. Five of the eight reviewers are in the Netherlands, where TrackBee is based, and four reviews were posted between August 9 and 12, 2024. And one 2024 review mentions the first $50K being tracked free, which doesn't match today's plans. Ask for references at your volume before you rely on the rating.
TrackBee pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| All 19 integrations, GA4 and Klaviyo included, on the $79 plan | Pricing rises with revenue, so a high order value costs more |
| 30-day free trial with no card and no setup fee | Start's overage is $6 per $1K, six times Pro's |
| Five-minute setup with no developer or GTM | Shopify only, with no WooCommerce support |
| Calendly, Hydrogen and custom-checkout support | No multi-touch attribution dashboard; Insights is an add-on |
| A 4.8 rating with no review below four stars | Only 8 reviews, most from 2024 |
Where TrackBee beats Upstack
Upstack Signal competes with TrackBee directly, so here's where TrackBee is ahead:
- GA4. TrackBee sends events to GA4. Upstack doesn't list GA4 as a destination.
- Entry price for a small store. At $25K a month in revenue, TrackBee Start's $79 is less than Signal's $149.
- Trial length. TrackBee gives 30 days free; ours is 21.
- Calendly and Insights. TrackBee turns Calendly bookings into lead events and offers an AI assistant over your data. Upstack offers neither.
Where Upstack fits better: we resolve each visitor against an identity graph of 750M+ devices and 150M+ customers using deterministic and probabilistic matching, and an Upstack ID persists for the life of the customer. TrackBee describes persistent profiles but publishes no matching method or graph size. Upstack prices per order, so your order value doesn't change the bill: at 10,000 orders and a $100 order value, Signal is $399 a month against TrackBee Scale's $824. Upstack also sends to Reddit, X, Attentive, Postscript and Omnisend, and adds multi-touch attribution with Attribution + Signal, from $199 a month. Our Upstack vs TrackBee comparison goes row by row.
What TrackBee doesn't do
Knowing the edges helps you decide what else you'd still need:
- No multi-touch attribution dashboard. Insights reconciles platform claims in Claude or ChatGPT. There's no model comparison, margin reporting or cohort view.
- No non-Shopify stores. WooCommerce and other platforms aren't supported.
- No annual plan. We saw no annual price or discount.
- No Reddit, X or SMS destinations on its integration list.
- No published identity method. Its persistent profiles aren't documented in detail.
How to test TrackBee during the trial
The 30-day trial is long enough to test properly:
- Install it next to your current setup and connect Meta, Google and Klaviyo first.
- Check Event Match Quality in Meta Events Manager before and after, for the purchase event.
- Compare platform-reported conversions with Shopify orders over two weeks.
- Watch Klaviyo flow entries for abandoned browse, cart and checkout.
- Work out your bill at your real monthly revenue before the trial ends, using its pricing calculator.
Judge it against your own numbers rather than the dashboard.
Is TrackBee worth it?
For a Shopify store with a low to moderate order value that wants every ad platform plus Klaviyo and GA4 without touching Google Tag Manager, TrackBee is good value, and the 30-day trial lets you prove it. Pro at $199 covers most stores up to $350K a month.
For a store with a high order value, price an order-based tool at your order count first, since TrackBee's bill grows with every sale. For a brand that wants attribution reporting or identity resolution across devices with a published graph, TrackBee isn't built for that job.
