Triple Whale Pricing (2026): Plans, Costs and Contract Terms Explained

Triple Whale has four plans: Free, Foundation, Automate and Enterprise. Paid plans are priced on your store's annual GMV and sold as 12-month subscriptions. Triple Whale's website no longer shows prices, but its Shopify App Store listing shows Foundation from $219 a month and Automate from $749 a month. Enterprise is quoted by sales.

Every figure on this page was checked against Triple Whale's pricing page, its help center and its Shopify App Store listing on October 22, 2026. If you're pricing a switch, our comparison of 9 Triple Whale alternatives puts these numbers next to Northbeam, Polar, Hyros and others.

How much does Triple Whale cost?

PlanMonthly priceAnnual optionWhat it adds
Free$0None neededFirst and last click, 12 months of data, 10 users
FoundationFrom $219$2,190 a yearMulti-touch attribution, the BI suite, Sonar and daily Moby AI
AutomateFrom $749$7,490 a yearMoby automations and ad actions, Creative Studio, landing pages
EnterpriseQuoted by salesQuotedMMM and incrementality (Compass), retail data, dedicated support

The Foundation and Automate prices come from the Shopify App Store listing, which says the annual option saves 17%. They are entry points, not fixed prices. Triple Whale's pricing FAQ says prices are based on "a combination of your brand's annual GMV and the package," and its GMV selector runs from under $1M to over $100M. When we checked, every paid plan in every GMV band showed "Book a walkthrough" or "Contact sales" instead of a dollar figure, and the Shopify listing doesn't say which band its prices belong to.

So the honest answer to "how much is Triple Whale?" is: $219 a month or more for Foundation, and the more your store sells, the more you'll be quoted.

What the first year costs

Because paid plans are 12-month subscriptions, the useful number is the year, not the month. At the listed entry prices:

PlanBilled monthly (12 payments)Billed annuallyYou save annually
Foundation$2,628$2,190$438
Automate$8,988$7,490$1,498

Those are floors. A store above the entry GMV band pays more, and Compass, Data Warehouse Sync and Moby top-ups are quoted on top.

How does Triple Whale pricing work?

Six rules from the pricing page and its FAQ decide what you pay:

  1. Price follows GMV. Four bands: under $1M, $1M to $10M, $10M to $100M, and over $100M in annual GMV.
  2. Growth moves you up automatically. If your revenue rises into a higher band, Triple Whale moves you to the matching plan and notifies you in advance. An annual prepaid plan locks your band for the year.
  3. Paid plans are 12-month subscriptions. You choose monthly billing or annual billing with two months free, but the commitment is a year either way.
  4. Users and stores are unlimited on every paid plan.
  5. Sonar is included. Sonar Send and Sonar Optimize, which share first-party data with email tools and ad platforms, come with "every new paid package" at no extra cost, per the pricing FAQ. If you signed up under an older plan, check whether yours includes it.
  6. Moby AI is metered. Every paid plan includes a Moby usage allotment sized to your plan and GMV. When you reach 100%, Moby work pauses, and the Moby usage FAQ offers a one-click top-up. We couldn't find a published top-up price.

What's included in each Triple Whale plan?

Triple Whale Free

The Free plan has no commitment and, per the homepage, needs no credit card. It gives you a real-time view of paid, owned, subscription and organic channel performance, with:

  • 10 users and 12 months of data storage
  • First-click and last-click attribution, with a lifetime window only
  • Partial Triple Pixel tracking and a light version of the post-purchase survey
  • Keyword attribution for organic search terms
  • AI search visibility for ChatGPT
  • A free taste of Moby: asking questions about your business and generating on-brand creative

Triple Whale Foundation

Foundation is where multi-touch attribution starts. You get unlimited users and data retention, every attribution model (Linear All, Linear Paid, First Click, Last Click, Triple Attribution, Total Impact, and Clicks & Deterministic Views) and all five lookback windows: 1, 7, 14 and 28 days, plus lifetime. It also includes the full post-purchase survey, custom dashboards, a SQL editor, customer segments, cohort, product and creative analysis, both Sonar products, and daily use of Moby as an analyst.

Triple Whale Automate

Automate lets Moby act rather than just answer. Per the pricing FAQ, its two big additions are Automations and Moby Specialists. Automations run scheduled spend checks, reports and alerts; Actions adjust budgets, pause ads and launch campaigns within your approval settings. Automate also adds Moby Landing Pages, Creative Studio and the full AI model library. The Retention and Conversion power-ups are included, and Moby's usage allotment is larger.

Triple Whale Enterprise

Enterprise adds Compass, which combines multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing (holdouts and geo-lift). It also brings multi-brand reporting, retail and wholesale data from stores like Walmart and Target, custom integrations, custom onboarding and migration, and dedicated success coverage. SOC 2 compliance is available on every tier; Enterprise adds SSO, audit logs and custom security reviews, though the plan card still marks SSO and audit logs "coming soon."

Triple Whale add-ons and what they cost

Triple Whale calls its add-ons "Power-ups." None has a published price; each says "Talk to sales."

Add-onWhat it doesIncluded on
RetentionSyncs customer segments to ad and retention platformsAutomate and Enterprise
ConversionSite analytics with custom events, funnels and site searchAutomate and Enterprise
CompassMMM and incrementality alongside attributionEnterprise; an add-on on Foundation and Automate
Data Warehouse SyncPushes Triple Whale data to BigQuery, Snowflake or RedshiftAdd-on on every paid plan
Moby ConciergeCustom, services-led AI builds, scoped per customerAdd-on

If MMM or incrementality testing is part of the reason you're buying, ask for Compass pricing in the same call as the plan, because below Enterprise it's a separate line.

Triple Whale prices you'll see elsewhere, and why they differ

Search for Triple Whale pricing and you'll find numbers that don't match this page. Most come from older plans:

  • Retired plan names. Many articles still list plans called Starter, Advanced, Growth, Pro or Professional, at prices from $129 to $449 a month. None of those plans appear on Triple Whale's pricing page today. Its Shopify listing still says "Everything in Starter" under Foundation, a leftover from the old naming.
  • 2023 pricing. When Triple Whale raised its Series B, TechCrunch reported that the full suite sold for $400 a month and the dashboard without the pixel for $100.
  • Add-on prices. Some articles give Retention at $19 a month and Conversion at $79. The current pricing page shows "Talk to sales" for every add-on.
  • Prices by GMV band. A few comparison sites publish a price for each GMV band. Triple Whale doesn't publish them, so we haven't repeated them here; get a written quote for your band instead.

If a number you've seen doesn't match a quote, ask Triple Whale which plan and GMV band it applies to.

Does Triple Whale have a free trial?

Triple Whale has a free plan rather than a free trial. We found no trial of the paid plans on its pricing page, homepage or help center. The free plan is a reasonable way to test the dashboard, but it uses first-click and last-click attribution only and partial pixel tracking, so it won't show you what the paid attribution models would report.

Can you cancel Triple Whale at any time?

Not mid-term. Foundation, Automate and Enterprise are 12-month subscriptions, and paying monthly spreads the cost without shortening the commitment. Cancelling is also a recurring complaint: on the Shopify App Store, 17 of Triple Whale's 94 reviews (18%) are one-star, and difficulty cancelling is one of the most common themes in them, alongside slow support.

If you're on a paid plan and considering a change, note your renewal date first. Our guide to switching from Triple Whale covers how to run a replacement side by side before that date.

What Triple Whale costs as your store grows

Because the price follows GMV, two stores with the same number of orders can land in different Triple Whale bands. Here is how four example stores map to Triple Whale's GMV bands, next to Upstack Attribution, which is priced per order:

Example storeOrders a monthAverage orderAnnual GMVTriple Whale GMV bandUpstack Attribution
Store A800$90$864,000Under $1M$99/mo
Store B2,500$90$2.7M$1M to $10M$149/mo
Store C2,500$400$12M$10M to $100M$149/mo
Store D9,000$120$13M$10M to $100M$249/mo

Stores B and C ship the same number of orders, but C's higher average order puts it two GMV bands up on Triple Whale. Triple Whale doesn't publish its price for each band, so you'll only see the gap on a quote. The Upstack figures come from our pricing page: Upstack Attribution starts at $99/mo for up to 1,000 orders, billed month to month.

That comparison isn't like for like on features. Triple Whale includes Moby, BI tools and more attribution models; Upstack Attribution has three models and no AI agent. It shows how the two pricing structures behave, not which product is better value.

Is Triple Whale worth the price?

Triple Whale is worth it if you use most of what a paid plan includes: several attribution models, especially Total Impact with post-purchase survey data; Sonar's server-side events to ten ad platforms; Moby automations that act in your ad accounts; and, on Enterprise, MMM and incrementality tests in one place.

It's harder to justify if you mainly use attribution reporting and the Meta Conversions API. In that case you're paying a GMV-based price, on a 12-month term, for modules you don't open. Our overview of what Triple Whale is and does breaks down each module so you can check which ones you'd use.

How that plays out by store size, in Triple Whale's own GMV bands:

Annual GMVWhat usually decides it
Under $1MWhether multi-touch attribution is worth a year-long commitment of at least $2,190. The Free plan covers basic first-click and last-click channel performance.
$1M to $10MWhether you run enough paid media across channels, beyond paid social on Meta, for multi-touch models and Sonar to change decisions.
Over $10MWhether you'll use Compass for MMM-led budget allocation and Automate's actions. Triple Whale also lists a dedicated success manager for qualifying accounts.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Triple Whale cost per month?

Triple Whale's Shopify App Store listing shows Foundation from $219 a month and Automate from $749 a month. Enterprise is quoted by sales. Actual prices depend on your annual GMV, and the official pricing page shows no dollar amounts.

Is Triple Whale pricing based on revenue?

Yes. Triple Whale prices paid plans on a combination of your annual GMV and the plan you choose. If your revenue grows into a higher band, you're moved to the matching plan automatically, unless you're on an annual prepaid plan, which locks your band for the year.

Is Triple Whale free?

Triple Whale has a free plan with first-click and last-click attribution, 12 months of data and 10 users. Multi-touch attribution, Sonar and the full pixel need a paid plan. There's no free trial of the paid plans.

Can I pay for Triple Whale monthly?

You can be billed monthly, but Foundation, Automate and Enterprise are 12-month subscriptions. Annual billing gives you two months free and locks your GMV band for the year.

Is Sonar included in Triple Whale pricing?

Yes. Sonar Send and Sonar Optimize are included in every paid plan at no extra cost, per Triple Whale's pricing FAQ. Some older articles still describe Sonar as a paid add-on.

What's the difference between Triple Whale Foundation and Automate?

Foundation covers measurement: multi-touch attribution, BI, Sonar and Moby as an analyst. Automate lets Moby act, with scheduled automations, ad actions within approval settings, landing pages and Creative Studio, and it includes the Retention and Conversion add-ons.

Does Triple Whale charge extra for Moby AI?

Each paid plan includes a Moby usage allotment sized to your plan and GMV. Once you use it up, Moby pauses until you buy a top-up or the allotment renews. Triple Whale doesn't publish the top-up price.

Did Triple Whale raise its prices?

Its pricing has changed shape, so old and new prices aren't directly comparable. In 2023, TechCrunch reported the full suite at $400 a month. Today paid plans are priced by GMV band on 12-month subscriptions, with Foundation listed from $219 a month and Automate from $749. Older plan names such as Starter and Advanced, and the prices attached to them, are no longer on the pricing page.

Is there a Triple Whale discount?

The only published discount is annual billing, which gives you two months free and locks your GMV band for the year. We found no other discount on Triple Whale's pricing page or Shopify listing.

Is Triple Whale too expensive for a small store?

It can be. Multi-touch attribution starts at Foundation, which costs at least $2,190 a year on annual billing or $2,628 billed monthly, with a 12-month commitment either way. Small stores can start on the Free plan or compare month-to-month tools in our Triple Whale alternatives guide.
