WeTracked Review (2026): What WeTracked Is, How Its Fingerprint Tracking Works, Pros and Cons
WeTracked is a low-cost server-side ad tracking tool for Shopify, WooCommerce and funnel checkouts, and one of the tools in our guide to WeTracked alternatives. It sends purchases back to nine ad platforms using what it calls a cookie-proof digital fingerprint. It starts at $49 a month for 500 orders, holds 4.7 stars from 1,064 Trustpilot reviews, and has no GA4 destination or published pricing above 7,500 orders.
We checked WeTracked's site, pricing, terms of service, help docs and Trustpilot profile on October 24, 2026. Upstack makes a competing product, which this review compares honestly, including where WeTracked does better.
WeTracked review: the verdict
| Good fit | Poor fit |
|---|---|
| Small stores where $49 to $249 a month is the budget | Teams that don't want tracking built on a device fingerprint |
| Operators running several stores on one plan | Stores above 7,500 orders that want published pricing |
| WooCommerce stores and funnel checkouts like Sticky.io or Checkify | Brands that need GA4 fed server-side |
| Advertisers on Reddit, X or Taboola as well as Meta and Google | Teams that want published attribution models and margin reporting |
Our take. WeTracked does one job cheaply: it gets more purchases back to the ad platforms, with order filters per platform and a simple dashboard, and its Trustpilot reviewers mostly praise fast setup and responsive support. The trade-offs are the method, a fingerprint, which some teams will want to clear with whoever owns privacy; a money-back guarantee that its own terms of service don't mention; and a reporting dashboard WeTracked itself says is still in beta.
What is WeTracked?
WeTracked, written wetracked.io, sells ad tracking software for ecommerce stores. Its about page says the founders were running ecommerce stores through their agency, found existing tracking tools fell short, and built their own. The page lists eight people, including Mark Deken as CEO and co-founder, Elmer de Wolf as co-founder, and Asad Hazara as co-founder and CTO.
Its terms of service name the provider as Green Point Technologies LLC and are governed by US law, and its Trustpilot profile lists a business address in Sheridan, Wyoming. Its site says it's used by "11,000+" merchants, with a "4.9/5" average rating from its users; both are WeTracked's own figures, and we couldn't check them.
We found no WeTracked listing in a Shopify App Store search. You install its Shopify connector, called wetracked.io Connect, through a link from WeTracked's own dashboard.
How does WeTracked work?
The 360° Data Enrichment Engine
WeTracked's features page says its engine "collects crucial data points and builds a cookie-proof digital fingerprint," and that it tracks across domains, sessions and devices. It markets this as a "compliant bypass" of ad blockers, tracking blockers, iOS 14 restrictions, cookie blockers and incognito mode, and claims it takes tracking "from 40% to 100% accuracy." Its pricing FAQ says the fingerprint is GDPR compliant and that WeTracked uses no modeling, only real data.
Those accuracy figures are WeTracked's own. The fair way to judge them is to compare purchases in each ad platform with your Shopify orders over the same weeks, before and after.
Sending conversions to the ad platforms
WeTracked captures pageviews, add-to-cart events, orders and revenue, then sends them server-side to each ad platform's own pixel. You can connect unlimited pixels and ad accounts per store, and filter which orders each platform sees by country, order value, product or source. That lets a regional campaign train only on regional sales, or a high-ticket account only on premium orders.
Pulse and Creative Analytics
Pulse is WeTracked's reporting dashboard, included on every plan, showing ad performance across channels in one table. Creative Analytics, in beta from the Business plan, compares creatives across Meta, Google and TikTok "without modeled guesses." WeTracked doesn't publish the attribution model behind either. In a Trustpilot reply posted the day we checked, it said Pulse "is still in beta" and that discrepancies can occur while it improves the dashboard.
Klaviyo Revenue Booster
WeTracked's Klaviyo page describes server-side cart tracking that triggers Klaviyo abandonment flows for shoppers browser tracking would miss, with session enrichment across devices and browsers. It claims "2X" more abandoned cart emails sent and a 27% increase in email flow revenue. Those are WeTracked's figures. The page offers "Activate Integration For Free."
What does WeTracked integrate with?
| Type | Integrations |
|---|---|
| Ad channels | Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Taboola Realize, X |
| Klaviyo | |
| Stores | Shopify, WooCommerce |
| Funnels and checkouts | Funnelish, BetterCart, Checkify, CheckoutChamp, EUCheckout, Sticky.io, UnifyCheckout |

Setup: what to expect
WeTracked advertises setup "in 5 minutes," with no coding. Its Shopify setup guide, updated May 10, 2026, walks through nine steps, which come down to this:
- Add a new Shopify store in WeTracked's dashboard and choose your checkout type.
- Add the pixel details for each ad platform you want to send to.
- Subscribe and add payment details if it's your first store.
- Install the wetracked.io Connect app in Shopify from the link WeTracked gives you.
- Generate an API key in WeTracked, paste it into the Shopify app and save it.
- Verify the connection, and turn on the Visitor Tracking app embed.
- Wait for WeTracked's team to review and activate the store. You get an email at each stage.
The hands-on part is quick. The review and activation step means your store isn't tracking the moment you finish, so plan the switch for a quiet day.
How much does WeTracked cost?
WeTracked prices on orders and stores. Billed monthly, Starter is $49 for 500 orders and 3 stores, Business $149 for 3,000 orders and 5 stores, and Scale-up $249 for 7,500 orders and 10 stores. Enterprise is quoted above 7,500 orders. Annual billing takes 20% off, and every plan has a 14-day free trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee tied to a 20% ROAS increase.
Our WeTracked pricing guide covers the billing terms, overage, the guarantee and costs at every volume.
WeTracked reviews: what customers say
WeTracked holds 4.7 stars from 1,064 reviews on Trustpilot, on a profile it claimed in March 2023, when we checked on October 24, 2026. 96% of reviews are five-star, 2% four-star and 2% one-star, with 163 posted in the last 12 months. Trustpilot notes that WeTracked hasn't invited reviews recently, and that it replied to 93% of negative reviews, typically within 48 hours.
What reviewers praise:
- Setup speed. Many reviewers describe being up and running in minutes.
- Support. The most common theme: fast, knowledgeable replies through live chat.
- Tracking. Several describe Meta recording far more of their purchases after installing it.
What low-star reviewers raise:
- Pulse numbers that didn't match. A one-star review posted October 23, 2026 describes revenue in Pulse that didn't match the ad platforms, and ten days of escalations without an answer. WeTracked replied that Pulse is still in beta and offered a call.
- Sales drops after installing. Two reviews from one merchant in October 2026 describe sales falling after installation. WeTracked replied that its lead developer reviewed the setup and found no evidence it caused the decline.
- Response time when it matters. The same reviews describe waiting for a call while ad spend kept running.
One- and two-star reviews are under 3% of the total. The pattern in those reviews is worth knowing: when something looks wrong in your numbers, expect an investigation rather than an instant fix.
Fingerprinting and consent
WeTracked is open about its method: a digital fingerprint built from data points about the visitor's device and session. It says that fingerprint is GDPR compliant.
What that means for your store depends on where you sell and how your consent banner is set up. A fingerprint recognizes a device from its characteristics rather than from something the shopper gave you, such as an email at checkout. Some teams are comfortable with that; others prefer identity built only on first-party data. Either way, it's a question for whoever owns privacy at your company, before you install it rather than after.
WeTracked pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| The lowest paid price we found: $49 for 500 orders, $149 for 3,000 | Built on a device fingerprint |
| Up to 10 stores on one plan, unlimited on Enterprise | No published pricing or overage rate above each plan |
| Nine ad channels on every plan, including Reddit, X and Taboola | No GA4 destination |
| WooCommerce and six third-party checkouts | No public Shopify App Store listing |
| Per-platform order filters | Pulse is still in beta, by WeTracked's own account |
| 24/7 live chat and strong Trustpilot ratings | The money-back guarantee isn't in the terms of service |
Where WeTracked beats Upstack
We make a competing product, so here's where WeTracked is the better pick:
- Price. Upstack Signal is $149 a month to 1,000 orders, $249 to 3,000 and $399 to 10,000. WeTracked is cheaper at every volume it publishes, and cheaper again on annual billing.
- Several stores on one plan. WeTracked bundles up to 10 stores into Scale-up. Upstack prices per store.
- Checkout coverage. WeTracked supports Sticky.io, Checkify, BetterCart, EUCheckout and UnifyCheckout, which we don't connect to.
- A dashboard in the tracking plan. Pulse comes with every WeTracked plan. Upstack's reporting is a separate product, Upstack Attribution.
Where we differ is method. Upstack resolves each visitor against an identity graph of 750M+ devices and 150M+ customers, using deterministic and probabilistic matching, with lifetime identity persistence, rather than a fingerprint. Our Upstack vs WeTracked comparison covers it row by row.
Is WeTracked worth it?
For a small Shopify or WooCommerce store that advertises on several platforms and wants better purchase data for under $250 a month, yes: nothing we checked is cheaper among paid tools, and its support has a strong reputation. Test it properly in the 14-day trial by comparing each ad platform's purchases with your store's orders.
It's a weaker fit if you'd rather not depend on a fingerprint, need GA4, expect to pass 7,500 orders soon, or plan to rely on Pulse for budget decisions. For those cases, our guide to WeTracked alternatives compares seven tools.
