Opensend Pricing (2026): Connect, Reconnect and Ignite Plans, Per-Identity Costs and Terms Explained
Opensend sells three products, each priced on its own. Connect, which identifies new visitors, is $400 a month billed annually for 2,000+ identities ($0.20 each), up to $1,600 for 9,500+, or $500 to $2,000 billed monthly. Reconnect, which recognizes returning shoppers, is $150 to $600 a month billed annually. Ignite, its server-side tracking, is from $250 a month. Connect and Reconnect start with a 14-day trial for $1.
If you're pricing a switch, our guide to 5 Opensend alternatives compares the tools people move to. Every figure here was checked on October 24, 2026 against Opensend's pricing page, its terms of use and its help center. Upstack is our product, which we compare at the end; the Opensend numbers are Opensend's own.
How much does Opensend cost?
| Product | What it does | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Connect | Identifies new, high-intent visitors and syncs them to your marketing platforms | $500 to $2,000/mo | $400 to $1,600/mo, 20% off | 14 days for $1 |
| Reconnect | Recognizes returning customers across devices, browsers and sessions | $250 to $1,000/mo | $150 to $600/mo, 40% off | 14 days for $1 |
| Ignite (formerly Fueled) | Sends server-side events to ad, email and SMS platforms | From $250/mo | Not stated | None advertised |
| Personas | AI audience cohorts for your email and ad platforms | Not published | Not published | Not stated |
| Revive | Replaces bouncing email addresses with active ones | Not published | Not published | Not stated |
Connect and Reconnect each also have an Enterprise tier, quoted on a call, and Ignite has a quoted Premium plan. Most brands that buy Opensend for list growth only need Connect; Reconnect and Ignite are separate purchases with separate bills.
So the short answer to "how much is Opensend?" is: $400 a month or more for Connect on annual billing, and more for each product you add.
Opensend Connect pricing
Connect is the product most people mean by "Opensend": it identifies anonymous visitors who pass an intent threshold and sends their email addresses to your email and ad platforms.
| Tier | Monthly visitors | Identities | Billed monthly | Per identity, monthly | Billed annually | Per identity, annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 10,000 to 50,000 | 2,000+ | $500/mo | $0.25 | $400/mo | $0.20 |
| Tier 2 | 50,000 to 150,000 | 4,300+ | $1,000/mo | $0.233 | $800/mo | $0.186 |
| Tier 3 | 100,000 to 300,000 | 9,500+ | $2,000/mo | $0.211 | $1,600/mo | $0.168 |
| Enterprise | Not stated | Custom | Quoted | Quoted | Quoted | Quoted |

Each tier's fee buys identities at that tier's rate: $400 at $0.20 is 2,000 identities. Per the pricing page, the identities you receive can be capped, and unused credit rolls over. The page doesn't say how identities above a tier's count are billed. Opensend's terms of use say each tier indicates the overage fees you incur beyond its stated amount, so ask for the overage rate in writing, or set a cap at your tier's count.
The visitor bands overlap: a store with 120,000 monthly visitors fits Tier 2 and Tier 3. The tier you need depends on how many identities you want each month, not only on traffic.
What a year of Connect costs
| Tier | Billed monthly (12 payments) | Billed annually | You save annually |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | $6,000 | $4,800 | $1,200 |
| Tier 2 | $12,000 | $9,600 | $2,400 |
| Tier 3 | $24,000 | $19,200 | $4,800 |
The annual prices are the page's monthly-equivalent figures times twelve. The page labels them "billed annually" without saying whether you pay the year up front, so confirm the payment schedule before you choose.
Opensend Reconnect pricing
Reconnect recognizes customers you already have when they come back on a different device or browser, so your abandonment flows fire for them. It's priced on the same three tiers as Connect, at lower rates, with a bigger annual discount.
| Tier | Monthly visitors | Identities | Billed monthly | Per identity, monthly | Billed annually | Per identity, annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 10,000 to 50,000 | 2,000+ | $250/mo | $0.125 | $150/mo | $0.075 |
| Tier 2 | 50,000 to 150,000 | 4,300+ | $500/mo | $0.116 | $300/mo | $0.070 |
| Tier 3 | 100,000 to 300,000 | 9,500+ | $1,000/mo | $0.105 | $600/mo | $0.063 |
| Enterprise | Not stated | Custom | Quoted | Quoted | Quoted | Quoted |

A year of Reconnect is $3,000, $6,000 or $12,000 billed monthly, against $1,800, $3,600 or $7,200 billed annually.
Opensend Ignite pricing
Ignite is server-side tracking: it captures events on the server, enriches them against Opensend's identity network and sends them to Meta's Conversions API, Google, TikTok, Klaviyo and Attentive, per its Ignite page. It was Fueled until Opensend bought Fueled in early 2026, which is why the pricing page labels it "previously Fueled."
| Plan | Price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | From $250/mo | Server-side event tracking, set up in under 10 minutes |
| Starter Plus | From $325/mo | Events enriched with hashed customer signals, for higher Event Match Quality |
| Growth | From $400/mo | Events to all your ad platforms at once, multi-store support, email and SMS platforms included |
| Premium | Quoted | A plan built around complex stacks: subscriptions, loyalty, returns, a data warehouse |

Ignite's tab has no monthly or annual toggle, and it doesn't say what makes a "from" price rise. Ask how your price is calculated before you compare it with other server-side tools.
Personas and Revive
Neither has a published price. Personas, which groups customers into AI-built cohorts you can sync to your email and ad platforms, appears on Opensend's homepage with a "Learn about Personas" link and no price. Revive, which swaps bouncing email addresses for the same people's active ones, has a Shopify App Store listing that is free to install and says buyers "can choose to buy one of the ten tier packages," without listing them. It had no reviews when we checked.
How Opensend pricing works
Six rules from the pricing page, terms and help center decide what you pay:
- You pay for identities delivered, not visitors. Traffic only sets the tier; the identities Opensend sends are what use your credit.
- Only visitors who show intent are identified. Opensend's help center gives a default threshold of 55 seconds of active time on a DTC site, which you can change, alongside signals such as pages viewed, scroll depth and carts started.
- There's a delay before each contact syncs. Opensend waits about a minute after the threshold, so a shopper has time to sign up through your own form. Some overlap still happens, and Opensend says that expected overlap is "baked into our pricing."
- Contacts you already have aren't delivered. Opensend won't send emails already in your system, checked through its native integrations such as Klaviyo or a suppression list you upload.
- US traffic only. Its sources are US publishers, and it filters out non-US traffic by IP location, per its FAQ.
- Caps and rollover. You can cap the identities you receive, and unused credit rolls over.
Does Opensend have a free trial?
Not a free one. Connect and Reconnect start with a 14-day trial for $1. Opensend's blog posts also carry a "blog only" offer of a month for $1, so ask which applies when you book. Ignite's tab doesn't mention a trial.
The trial isn't self-serve. Opensend's help center says its Shopify app isn't public on the App Store because its team onboards every brand, reviewing your email program, suppression and sending plan before launch. Plan for a call before your two weeks start.
Can you cancel Opensend at any time?
Yes, at the end of a billing period. Opensend's terms of use say:
- Services are month to month and renew on the first of each month; partial months may be prorated.
- You can cancel at any time, but you pay through the end of the current period, and cancellation requests can take up to three business days.
- Once you cancel, you lose access to any lead information you haven't downloaded.
- Subscriptions can't be returned or exchanged, and fees "are subject to change at any time."
Those terms were last revised on March 10, 2022, before the current tiers and Ignite. If you choose annual billing, ask how cancelling mid-year works and get the answer in writing.
Opensend prices you'll see elsewhere, and why they differ
- Older tier structures. In an April 2025 interview republished on Opensend's blog, its SVP of sales described ten tiers priced from $0.09 to $0.25 per identity. The pricing page now shows three tiers and Enterprise, with Connect at $0.168 to $0.25.
- Annual rates quoted as the only rates. Retention.com's comparison page gives Opensend's price as $0.168 to $0.20 per identity, which are the annual-billing rates. Billed monthly, Connect runs $0.211 to $0.25.
- Fueled. Older articles list Fueled as a separate company. It's now Opensend Ignite, priced on Opensend's own page.
If a figure you've seen doesn't match a quote, ask Opensend which product, tier and billing period it belongs to.
What Opensend costs at your volume
Assuming you buy Connect and Reconnect on the same tier, and pick the tier by the identities you want each month:
| Identities a month | Connect, billed annually | Connect, billed monthly | Connect + Reconnect, billed annually | Connect + Reconnect, billed monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| About 2,000 | $400/mo | $500/mo | $550/mo | $750/mo |
| About 4,300 | $800/mo | $1,000/mo | $1,100/mo | $1,500/mo |
| About 9,500 | $1,600/mo | $2,000/mo | $2,200/mo | $3,000/mo |
| More than about 9,500 | Quoted | Quoted | Quoted | Quoted |
Add Ignite from $250 a month if you also want Opensend's server-side tracking.
Is Opensend worth the price?
Opensend is worth it when each identity earns back more than it costs. At $0.20 per identity, an identity has to bring in more than 20 cents of margin, not revenue, to pay for itself. In its 2025 interview, Opensend said most customers see monetization of $1.50 or more per identity. Retention.com's head-to-head test on one brand's traffic found Opensend's contacts earning $0.49 per email sent. Both are vendor figures, so measure your own.
Two cautions when you do:
- Opensend's revenue figure isn't incremental. Its help center says it has no set attribution window: the Placed Order Value on its dashboard includes every order placed by an Opensend-identified profile in the date range, including shoppers who might have bought anyway.
- A holdout is the fair test. A Benchmade testimonial on Opensend's homepage describes checking incrementality with a test group and a control group. Do the same: send part of the identified contacts through your flows, hold the rest out, and compare orders per contact over the trial.
How Opensend pricing compares with alternatives
| Tool | Pricing basis | Entry price | Contract |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identities delivered | $400/mo billed annually; $500 billed monthly | Month to month, or annual billing at 20% off | |
| Flat monthly fee | Not published | Month to month, pausable | |
| Resolved matches | $200/mo for 8,000 matches, plus a Signal plan | Yearly plan billed monthly, 60-day opt-out | |
| Credits, 1 per identified visitor a month | $2,000/mo for identification (Launch, billed monthly) | 12 months | |
| Klaviyo profiles | $299/mo at 1,000 profiles | 3, 6 or 12 months | |
| Not published | Quoted | Month to month |
Per identified shopper, Opensend sits at the top of the published range: $0.168 to $0.25 per identity, against $0.015 to $0.025 per Upstack Audience match and $0.01 to $0.02 per Tie credit. Opensend's advantage is that it has no annual contract or second plan to buy. Sources and the full comparison for each tool are in our Opensend alternatives guide.

How much does Opensend Ignite cost?
Ignite, formerly Fueled, is from $250 a month on Starter, from $325 on Starter Plus and from $400 on Growth, with Premium quoted. The pricing page doesn't offer annual billing for it.

Yes. Per its terms you can cancel at any time and pay through the end of the current billing period; requests can take up to three business days, and you lose access to lead information you haven't downloaded.
Does Opensend charge for visitors who are already on my list?
No. Opensend says it doesn't deliver emails already in your system, checked through its integrations or a suppression list you upload. A shopper who signs up on their own after Opensend identifies them can still slip through, and Opensend says that overlap is built into its prices.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Opensend?
Per identified visitor, yes: Upstack Audience is $0.015 to $0.025 per match, from $200 a month, plus a Signal plan, and Tie's credits are $0.01 to $0.02, though Tie's identification plan is $18,000 a year prepaid. See our Opensend alternatives guide for every option.
Compare Opensend with Upstack Audience
At about 9,500 identified visitors a month, Opensend Connect Tier 3 is $1,600 a month billed annually. Upstack Audience Growth covers up to 25,000 matches for $500 a month, but it needs a Signal plan, which is $149 a month for up to 1,000 orders and more as your orders grow, and it delivers only to Klaviyo, Omnisend and Meta. Our Upstack vs Opensend comparison sets the two side by side, including where Opensend does more.
