Polar Analytics Pricing (2026): Core vs Custom, GMV-Based Quotes and What's Included

Polar Analytics doesn't publish prices on its own site. It sells two plans, Core and Custom, priced on your online GMV and quoted after a demo. Its Shopify App Store listing shows the Core plan from $750 a month, billed every 30 days, with discounts for annual terms. Polar's own Triple Whale comparison page puts the full suite at $1,660 a month for a $10M GMV brand. The free trial doesn't include the Polar Pixel.

If you're pricing a switch, our guide to 7 Polar Analytics alternatives puts these numbers next to Triple Whale, Lifetimely, TrueProfit and others. We checked every figure here on October 24, 2026 against Polar's pricing page, its Shopify App Store listing, its help center and its product pages. Upstack is our product and competes with Polar on attribution and tracking, so we've kept our own prices to one table near the end.

So the honest answer to "how much is Polar Analytics?" is $750 a month or more for Core, rising with your GMV, and a quote for everything else.

How does Polar Analytics pricing work?

Five rules from Polar's pricing page and Shopify listing decide what you pay:

  1. Price follows online GMV. The Shopify listing bases Core's price on your online GMV. Polar doesn't publish its GMV bands, and the listing doesn't say which band the $750 figure belongs to.
  2. Products are sold singly or bundled. The pricing page sells four products: Business Intelligence, Incrementality Testing, Data Activations (Klaviyo Audiences and Advertising Signals) and AI Agents. Core bundles Business Intelligence, AI Agents and Data Activations, and Polar says the bundle saves 20% on the individual product costs. Custom lets you build your own stack.
  3. The platform comes with every plan. A dedicated Snowflake database, the ecommerce semantic layer, the first-party pixel, unlimited users and unlimited historical data are on every plan, with no extra charge listed.
  4. Billing runs every 30 days. On the Shopify listing, recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days, and Polar may bill some charges separately from your Shopify invoice. Annual terms come with a discount whose size Polar doesn't publish.
  5. You get your price on a call. Every plan and product on the pricing page leads to a demo booking.

What's included in each Polar Analytics plan?

Every Polar plan

Per the pricing page, every plan includes:

  • The data platform: a dedicated Snowflake database, an ecommerce semantic layer, the first-party Polar Pixel, and custom roles and permissions.
  • No seat or history limits: unlimited users and unlimited historical data.
  • Support: a dedicated success manager, a Slack channel and live chat.

Polar Core

Polar pitches Core as its essential data stack. The pricing page says it includes all of Business Intelligence, AI Agents and Data Activations, and the Shopify listing names the features: Business Intelligence, Klaviyo Audiences, Advertising Signals, Polar MCP, unlimited users, unlimited historical data and unlimited connectors. In practice that means:

  • Business Intelligence: a dashboard library, custom reporting, multi-touch attribution, Ask Polar AI, goal tracking, alerts and scheduled reports.
  • Data Activations: Klaviyo Audiences, which identifies abandonment events Klaviyo misses so your flows reach more shoppers, and Advertising Signals, which sends conversion events to the Meta and Google Ads Conversions APIs.
  • AI Agents: Polar MCP, which gives Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable and other AI tools governed access to 400+ pre-built ecommerce metrics, with a 15-minute refresh. The listing also leads with the AI Operator, which monitors your store and ads in Slack or Teams and acts once you approve.

Polar Custom

Custom is a product stack you choose yourself. Its card lists every Polar product, including Incrementality Testing, which Core's card doesn't. Incrementality Testing comes with a dedicated data scientist, lift tests on Meta, Google, TikTok or TV campaigns, measurement across Shopify, Amazon or retail, and reports with recommendations. If you want lift tests, you're quoting Custom, or adding Causal Lift tests to your platform.

Polar Analytics add-ons and extra costs

Add-onWhat it doesPrice

Demographic enrichmentAdds demographic data to your customersNot published
SQL accessLets your team query the data directlyNot published

Custom connectorsConnects sources without a standard connectorNot published
Causal Lift testA geo-based incrementality test run by a Polar data scientist$5,000 a test bundled, or $20,000 standalone, for a $50M brand

The first five are listed as Business Intelligence add-ons on the pricing page, without prices. If SQL access to your warehouse is part of why you're buying, ask for it in the same quote. Polar's homepage describes your Snowflake instance as yours to query, but the pricing page lists SQL access as an add-on.

Causal Lift prices come from Polar's Causal Lift page, which gives them as an example for a $50M brand; bundling is available as part of the Polar Data Platform. Our guide to incrementality testing explains what a lift test measures.

Polar Analytics prices you'll see elsewhere, and why they differ

Search for Polar Analytics pricing and you'll find numbers that don't match this page:

  • Price tables by GMV band. Several comparison sites publish a Polar price for each GMV band. Polar doesn't publish those bands itself, so we haven't repeated them here; get a written quote for your own GMV.
  • Older, lower entry prices. Directories and older reviews quote entry prices below today's $750. Polar has since repackaged itself from an analytics app into a data platform with AI agents, and it doesn't publish a price history.
  • Polar's own example. The one figure above entry level that Polar publishes is on its Triple Whale comparison page: $1,660 a month for the full suite at $10M GMV. The page doesn't say which products the full suite includes.
  • Causal Lift. The $5,000 figure is per test, for a $50M brand, bundled with the platform. It isn't a monthly price.

If a number you've seen doesn't match a quote, ask Polar which plan, products and GMV it applies to.

Does Polar Analytics have a free trial?

Polar's help center refers to a free trial, but neither its pricing page nor its Shopify listing gives its length, and every plan on the pricing page leads to a demo. The Polar Pixel isn't available on the trial: Polar's help center says the pixel needs about two weeks of tracking before its data is reliable, and it doesn't track retroactively. So a trial lets you test the dashboards on your store and ad data, not Polar's attribution.

The most recent one-star review on its Shopify listing, from October 2024, makes the same point from the buyer's side: you can't try Polar without a sales call.

Can you cancel Polar Analytics at any time?

Polar's Shopify listing bills every 30 days, and annual terms come with a discount. Neither the pricing page nor the listing publishes notice or cancellation terms, so ask before you sign an annual term, and note its end date if you do. Polar's CAPI enhancer page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on that product if you're not satisfied.

What Polar Analytics costs as your store grows

Because the price follows GMV, two stores that ship the same number of orders can get different quotes, and two with the same GMV can differ in orders by a factor of three. Here are four example stores, next to Upstack Attribution + Signal, which is priced per order:

Example storeOrders a monthAverage orderAnnual online GMVPolar AnalyticsUpstack Attribution + Signal
Store A1,000$60$720,000Core from $750/mo, the listing's entry price$199/mo
Store B2,500$90$2.7MQuoted, from $750/mo$349/mo
Store C8,300$100About $10MAbout $1,660/mo for the full suite, Polar's $10M example$499/mo
Store D2,500$335About $10MAbout $1,660/mo for the full suite, Polar's $10M example$349/mo

Stores C and D have the same GMV, so Polar's example applies to both, but D ships under a third of C's orders and pays less on a per-order plan. The Upstack figures come from our pricing page: Attribution + Signal is $199 a month for up to 1,000 orders, $349 for up to 3,000 and $499 for up to 10,000, month to month.

That comparison isn't like for like on features. Polar includes a Snowflake warehouse, BI, AI agents, Klaviyo Audiences and a dedicated success manager; Upstack includes server-side tracking with identity resolution and attribution, with no hosted warehouse, no AI agent and no incrementality testing. It shows how the two pricing models behave, not which product is better value.

Is Polar Analytics worth the price?

Polar is worth it if you use most of what Core includes: the warehouse and semantic layer, custom metrics across several stores or brands, the AI Operator, Amazon data in the same model, and a success manager on Slack. Polar's homepage pitches it as the connectors and data modeling you'd otherwise buy, with the semantic layer and agents on top, and for a brand that would otherwise pay for a warehouse, a pipeline tool, a BI tool and someone to run them, $750 to $1,660 a month can be the cheaper route.

It's harder to justify if you mainly use attribution and the conversions Polar sends to Meta and Google. Then you're paying a GMV-based price for a data platform you don't open.

If you mainly use Polar for...What decides whether it's worth it
The warehouse, custom metrics and multi-store reportingWhether you'd otherwise pay for connectors, a warehouse, data modeling and a BI tool, plus someone to run them
The AI Operator and Polar MCPWhether your team acts on its recommendations in Slack or Teams each week
Attribution and Meta and Google conversionsWhether a tool priced per order covers the same job for less
Profit and LTV reportingWhether a profit app priced by orders, from $35 to $999 a month, covers what you need

Frequently asked questions

How much does Polar Analytics cost per month?

Polar's Shopify App Store listing shows the Core plan from $750 a month, priced on online GMV and billed every 30 days. Its own Triple Whale comparison page puts the full suite at $1,660 a month for a $10M GMV brand. Custom is quoted, and Polar's own pricing page shows no dollar figures.

Is Polar Analytics pricing based on revenue?

Yes. Polar prices on your online GMV, the gross value of what you sell online. It doesn't publish its GMV bands or the price for each, so the only way to know your price is a quote.

Does Polar Analytics have a free plan?

No. There's no free plan on its pricing page or Shopify listing. Its help center refers to a free trial, without a published length, and the Polar Pixel isn't included in it.

Does Polar Analytics offer an annual discount?

Its Shopify listing says discounts are available for annual terms, but Polar doesn't publish how large they are. Separately, Polar says the Core bundle saves 20% compared with buying its products individually.

What's the difference between Polar Core and Custom?

Core bundles Business Intelligence, AI Agents and Data Activations, which per its Shopify listing covers BI, Klaviyo Audiences, Advertising Signals and Polar MCP. Custom lets you pick your own product stack and is where Incrementality Testing, with a dedicated data scientist, appears. Both include the Snowflake database, the pixel and a dedicated success manager.

How much does Polar's incrementality testing cost?

Polar's Causal Lift page gives an example for a $50M brand: $5,000 a test when bundled with the Polar Data Platform, or $20,000 as a standalone product. A Polar data scientist designs, runs and interprets each test.

Is Polar Analytics cheaper than Triple Whale?

Not at entry level. Polar's Core plan is from $750 a month; Triple Whale's Foundation is from $219 a month on a 12-month term, and Triple Whale has a free plan. Both quote above their entry GMV bands. Our Polar Analytics vs Triple Whale comparison covers the differences beyond price.

Did Polar Analytics raise its prices?

Polar doesn't publish a price history. Older directories and reviews quote entry prices below today's $750, and Polar has since repackaged itself as a data platform with AI agents, so old and new prices aren't directly comparable. Get a written quote for your GMV and the products you'll use.
