About AppLovin Ads
Upstack will bring the cost side in and join it to orders resolved against the device graph, so an in-app impression and a web checkout days later belong to the same customer.
For a channel routinely judged on installs because revenue was not attributable, that join is the difference between a test that gets canceled and one that scales.
What AppLovin Ads is
AppLovin buys attention inside mobile apps and games, at volumes and prices that look nothing like search or social.
Its spend is reported in an in-app world; the revenue it drives usually lands in a web checkout, and nothing joins the two.
How AppLovin Ads works
AppLovin reports spend, impressions and engagement through its reporting API, against campaigns targeting app inventory. Its own optimization runs on events reported back through the SDK, which sees in-app behavior well and a later web purchase not at all.
What you can do with it
Three jobs AppLovin Ads does once it is connected.
01
Cost next to revenue
AppLovin Ads spend is planned to arrive next to your orders, so ROAS and CPA can be computed from what you paid and what your store recorded.
02
Blended and per-channel in one place
With every platform reporting its own cost into the same store, blended CAC stops being a monthly spreadsheet exercise and becomes a number you can look at on a Tuesday.
03
In-app spend against web revenue
Cost data from the in-app campaign is planned to sit next to the web orders it produced, so a channel measured in installs can be measured in revenue.

FAQ
AppLovin Ads integration questions.
What does Upstack capture from AppLovin Ads?
Pull AppLovin cost and delivery data into Upstack alongside your orders, so in-app spend is measured against the web revenue it produced.
Is the AppLovin Ads integration available yet?
Not yet. AppLovin Ads is announced and coming soon, so it has no pre-built connectors today.
Which plans include the AppLovin Ads integration?
All plans. Upstack has three plans that scale with your order volume, and the same integrations are on every plan.
Can Upstack also send conversions to AppLovin?
Yes, through the AppLovin integration. Upstack loads the AppLovin Axon Pixel on your storefront and reports each event with identity data and the aleid click ID attached, so conversions are attributed to your AppLovin campaigns.
Will Upstack slow down my store?
Upstack’s own pixel loads asynchronously and fails silently, so it doesn’t hold up your pages. What each destination adds depends on its Tracking Method. The default, Browser + Server, loads that platform’s own tag on your store, in place of the copy you would otherwise install yourself, and also sends the same events from Upstack’s servers. Choose Server for any destination that offers it and its tag never loads, while its events still arrive from Upstack’s servers.
