SegMetrics vs Hyros (2026): Attribution Differences, Tracking, Calls and Pricing Compared

SegMetrics and Hyros both serve info-product, coaching and funnel businesses, but they differ on price, setup and what they measure. SegMetrics publishes its prices, from $57 a month with a 14-day free trial, and is built around your email platform and CRM, with four attribution views you can switch between. Hyros quotes on a call, includes a setup team and AI analyst, and is built to tie booked calls and closed deals back to the ad.

For this SegMetrics vs Hyros comparison, a companion to our guide to 10 Hyros alternatives, we checked both tools against their own pricing pages, feature pages, help docs and terms on October 24, 2026. Upstack is our product and comes up once, near the end, with its limits stated. If neither fits, that guide covers the wider field, and our Hyros review covers Hyros on its own.

SegMetrics vs Hyros: attribution differences

The biggest difference is what each tool treats as the journey.

SegMetrics builds the journey from your marketing stack. Its Hyros comparison page says it ties every interaction to a contact journey pulled from the CRMs and shopping carts you already use, enhanced by fingerprinting, so it can show how each step of a nurture sequence (an email, a webinar, a sales call) affects revenue. Its attribution models page offers four views you switch between in real time:

  • First click credits the ad or page that started the journey.
  • First engagement credits the content that turned a subscriber into an active prospect: the email they opened or the webinar they attended.
  • Last touch credits the final touchpoint before the sale.
  • Full funnel spreads credit across every touchpoint that contributed.

Hyros builds the journey from ad clicks and sales events. It documents last click, first click and the Scientific report, which merges the two and credits each sale to the source that played the biggest part over the time frame you set. Its pitch is coverage: catching the booked calls and closes that ad pixels miss, per its call tracking page.

So the attribution difference comes down to this: SegMetrics answers "which part of my funnel moved this lead", including email and webinars, while Hyros answers "which ad produced this sale", including sales that close on a call. Our guide to first click vs last click attribution explains when each kind of model helps.

One note on SegMetrics' own comparison page: it refers to Hyros's "SPAC acquisition". That deal, with Banzai, was called off in August 2023, and Hyros remains independent, as our Hyros review explains.

How do SegMetrics and Hyros track conversions?

SegMetrics uses a tracking pixel with fingerprinting on every plan and joins it to your email platform, CRM and checkout through 100+ integrations, per its pricing page. Server-side tracking, which hosts the pixel on your own domain to avoid ad blockers, comes on the $397 Scale plan.

Hyros uses AI Swarm tracking: your first-party live and historic data, combined with third-party signals, patterns from across the Hyros network and a device fingerprint. You add Hyros's script and connect your checkout, CRM and booking tools, and its setup team configures the rest.

Both use fingerprinting to follow people across devices. The difference is where each looks for the rest of the journey: SegMetrics in your email and CRM data, Hyros in its network signals and your call and checkout data.

Calls, bookings and sales teams

Hyros is built for call-based sales. Its call tracking page lists one-click integrations with Calendly, CallRail, iClosed and HubSpot, and ties each booked call, close and recurring retainer back to the ad that started the journey.

SegMetrics takes calls in through integrations. Its docs and dashboard templates cover CallRail, CallTrackingMetrics and Calendly, with call-funnel dashboards that follow a call from first ring to closed deal.

If most of your revenue closes on calls, Hyros does more of that work for you. If calls are one step in an email-led funnel, SegMetrics covers them alongside everything else.

Sending sales back to ad platforms

Both send real sales back so Meta and Google optimize on buyers rather than leads.

  • SegMetrics' Conversion Feeder sends sales to Facebook, Google, TikTok and other platforms every day, and lets you filter which buyers to send: by funnel, by customer value or by custom fields. It starts on the Grow plan at $197 a month, not on the $57 Launch plan.
  • Hyros pushes conversions back to Meta, Google and TikTok as part of its one plan, including booked calls and closes for call-based funnels. Our Hyros review lists the other platforms its docs cover.

SegMetrics' daily batch is fine for training on buyers; it isn't real-time. Hyros sends as it tracks. If you run both, send each conversion type from only one tool.

SegMetrics vs Hyros pricing

SegMetrics publishes its prices, set by active contacts: people active in your email platform, people who visited your site, or contacts with active purchases, subscriptions or deals. For up to 10,000 active contacts, its pricing page lists:

PlanMonthly price, billed monthlyWhat it adds
Launch$57Full-funnel analytics, essential reports, 100+ integrations, unlimited users, LTV tracking
Grow$197Advanced reports, contact journeys, the Conversion Feeder, advanced segmentation, 1-on-1 onboarding
Scale$397Server-side tracking, data APIs, unlimited custom dashboards, multi-currency, a dedicated account manager
EnterpriseCustomFor companies over $10M a year in revenue

Annual billing gives two months free, and every plan has a 14-day free trial. Prices rise with your active-contact count.

Hyros has one plan with everything included (setup team, AI analyst, full tracking and a Claude MCP interface), quoted on a 15-minute setup call, per its pricing page. An older Hyros pricing page, still live, starts at $69 a month for up to $5,000 in tracked monthly revenue; our Hyros pricing guide has the full tier table. Hyros's terms renew orders automatically unless you cancel at least 30 days before the term ends, and refund requests must be in writing within 90 days of the first charge.

For a coaching business with 8,000 active contacts that wants ad-platform syncing, SegMetrics Grow is $197 a month billed monthly. Hyros's price for the same business depends on tracked revenue and comes from the call, so get it in writing before you compare.

Switching from Hyros to SegMetrics

SegMetrics actively courts Hyros customers. Its Hyros page offers free migration services and a Hyros-style dashboard so the reports look familiar. If you switch:

  1. Find your Hyros renewal date and give notice at least 30 days before the term ends.
  2. Run SegMetrics alongside Hyros for two to four weeks and compare both with your checkout and CRM.
  3. Move ad-platform syncing last. Turn on the Conversion Feeder only after you've turned off Hyros's sending for the same events, or Meta can count sales twice.

When neither is the right fit

Neither tool is built around the store order. If you run an online store and need clean conversion data reaching Meta plus attribution you trust, a per-order tool may fit better.

Upstack Data, our product, covers those two jobs for Shopify and DTC brands. Upstack Signal sends server-side events to Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and Microsoft Ads, matched against an identity graph of 750M+ devices and 150M+ customers. Upstack Attribution reports first-click, last-click and any-click attribution. Attribution is $99 a month for up to 1,000 orders and Attribution + Signal is $199, month to month, with a 21-day free trial and a 60-day 4x ROI guarantee.

Upstack doesn't track phone calls, doesn't report email or webinar engagement the way SegMetrics does, and doesn't do MMM or incrementality testing.
