Tie (Revenue Roll) Review 2026: What Meettie Is, How Tie ID Works, Pricing, Pros and Cons
Tie, at meettie.com, is the company that was called Revenue Roll until mid-2025. It identifies anonymous visitors to ecommerce sites (Tie ID), scores shoppers daily on how likely they are to open, click and buy (Tie Predict), and works to land campaigns in Gmail's Primary tab (Tie Priority), all from one credit balance. Its strengths are breadth and hands-on support; its weak spots are a 12-month contract on every plan and an entry price for identification of $24,000 a year.
For other options, see our comparison of 5 Tie alternatives. This review is based on Tie's own pricing page, FAQ, product pages and help center, and on its G2 reviews, all checked on October 24, 2026; Upstack is our product and competes with Tie through Upstack Audience, so we've stuck to what Tie publishes and what its customers say. For the full price breakdown, see our Tie pricing guide.
Tie review: the verdict
| Tie is a good fit if you... | Look elsewhere if you... |
|---|---|
| Get at least 100,000 unique US visitors a month, Tie's stated fit | Have smaller traffic or want to test identification for a few hundred dollars a month |
| Would use identification, scoring and inbox placement together | Only need identification and won't use 1.6 million credits a year |
| Run SMS on Postscript or Attentive alongside Klaviyo | Send through Braze, Iterable or Bloomreach, which Tie lists as coming soon |
| Want a dedicated success manager and a Slack channel | Need month-to-month terms or to cancel mid-contract |
| Sell mostly to US shoppers | Need identification for EU or UK traffic |
What is Tie (meettie)?
Tie describes itself as a DTC shopper intelligence platform. In practice it's three products on one identity graph, sold to ecommerce brands that market heavily by email and SMS. Meettie.com is its website, which is why people search for "meettie": the company's name is Tie.
Is Revenue Roll the same company as Tie?
Yes. Revenue Roll rebranded as Tie in mid-2025, and the site's footer still links a "Formerly Revenue Roll" page. Per that rebrand page, Revenue Roll was founded in New York between 2021 and 2022 to help marketers with attribution after iOS privacy changes, pivoted in late 2022 to identifying anonymous visitors, launched that version in January 2023, and raised a $4.5 million seed round from Innovating Capital and Stage 2 Capital the same year. It added ad financing in 2024 and told customers at the rename that their accounts, data, pricing and integrations would stay the same.
Tie's About page says it was founded by three NYU friends and lists $17M in funding, 280M+ US shopper profiles and 25B+ identifying data points. Michael Diesu is co-founder and CEO, and Jonathan Kopnick is co-founder and CTO.
How does Tie work?
Tie ID: identifying anonymous visitors
Tie ID is the product most people mean by Tie. Per Tie's FAQ, every visit leaves signals such as server-side events, IP, device characteristics and behavior, and Tie matches them against a 280M+ consented consumer identity graph built from a network of 1,000+ data sources. Matches are deterministic to the household (verified emails, hashed identifiers and order history) and probabilistic to the person within it, and a profile only syncs to your email platform once the match clears a confidence threshold you set.
Tie says it recognizes up to 70% of US website visitors in real time, against roughly one in ten for a typical email platform. Identified profiles can carry name and contact details plus age, gender, household income and marital status. Tie ID also re-recognizes subscribers who come back on a new device or browser, so their abandonment flows fire, and it can enrich your existing Klaviyo profiles with mailing addresses and demographics. Data updates roughly every 10 minutes, and Tie says it isn't a data co-op: your customer data isn't pooled with other brands'.
Tie Marketplace ID extends this to marketplaces. It matches a TikTok Shop order's shipping address to a shopper profile and logs a "Tie Marketplace Match" event in Klaviyo with the channel, order ID and value, so you can see which marketplace buyers already shop on your site.
Tie Predict: daily intent scores
Predict scores every shopper daily from 1 to 10 on how likely they are to open, click and buy, and syncs the scores into Klaviyo as profile properties. Tie says the scores draw on 55+ signals from its identity graph, including browsing your email platform never sees, and that they cover your suppression list too, so lapsed contacts who are browsing again surface with high scores. Predict needs about 100,000 active email subscribers to start scoring and requires Tie ID. Tie puts integration at 24 to 48 hours from pixel install to the first score sync.
Tie Priority: Gmail Primary-tab placement
Per its Priority page, Priority runs inside your Klaviyo account and uses Predict's open scores to send each campaign to the likeliest openers first, so Gmail sees strong early engagement. It also warms sending domains and holds back a control group on each send to measure the lift. Your creative, templates and flows don't change. Tie reports a median 45% click-rate lift across Priority campaigns; that's Tie's own figure, measured against its holdouts, so test it on your sends.
Consent and data handling
Tie says it runs on double opt-in: it uses the consent management platform on your site to capture on-site consent, every profile in its network has also opted in upstream, and if either consent is missing, tracking is blocked. Its rebrand page names publishers, credit bureaus and DSPs as its data partners. The FAQ says Tie complies with CCPA, CPRA and CAN-SPAM, avoids GDPR and HIPAA exposure by design, acts as a data processor while you remain the data controller, and is SOC 2 Type I and Type II certified. The older rebrand page calls Tie "fully GDPR and CCPA compliant," so if you have EU or UK traffic, ask Tie directly how it handles it.
Kyle and the Advertising Credit Card
Tie's dashboard includes an AI agent called Kyle that summarizes performance and suggests changes, such as widening identification reach or warming a new domain, for you to approve. Separately, Tie sells an Advertising Credit Card: ad financing with payback periods of up to 90 days, repayment terms set per transaction, and invoice options on ad platforms. Its price isn't published.
What does Tie integrate with?
| Category | Live | Through Klaviyo | Coming soon |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email and SMS | Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript | None | Braze, Iterable, Bloomreach |
| Commerce | Shopify | None | None |
| Ads | Meta Ads and Google Ads custom audiences | None | None |
| Direct mail and onsite | None | PostPilot, Paper Run, Intelligems | None |
| Automation | Zapier | None | None |
That's per Tie's integrations page. Its FAQ lists Iterable, Braze and Bloomreach among its messaging integrations, but the integrations page marks all three "coming soon," so confirm before you sign if you use one of them. Tie's listed install times run from 10 to 20 minutes for Shopify and Postscript to under a day for Attentive.
Setup: what to expect
Tie's FAQ says implementation takes a few hours for most brands, often a few clicks if you have access to your site and email platform. On Shopify, Tie's help center says accounts started after September 24, 2026 connect with a one-click app, while older accounts use a read-only custom app built inside the store's own Shopify account, with read-only access to customers and orders. Launch, Scale and Enterprise customers get a dedicated Client Success Manager and a shared Slack channel. We didn't find a public Shopify App Store listing with reviews.
How much does Tie cost?
Tie sells four plans in credits, all on 12-month contracts: Priority at $12,000 a year, Launch at $24,000 and Scale at $40,000 billed monthly, or $9,000, $18,000 and $30,000 prepaid. Enterprise is custom. Tie ID, Predict and SMS start on Launch. Tie ID uses one credit per unique visitor identified each month, Predict three credits per active profile a year, and Priority about one credit per 30 emails. Payment is by ACH auto-debit only, and stopping early leaves the rest of the term due. Our Tie pricing guide explains each plan and works through credit budgets for four example stores.
Tie reviews on G2: what customers say
On G2, Tie holds 4.8 out of 5 from 46 reviews, some still written under the Revenue Roll name. G2's AI summary of those reviews counts these themes:
| Theme | Reviews mentioning it |
|---|---|
| A helpful, responsive team | 19 of 46 (41%) |
| Customer support during deployment | 16 of 46 (35%) |
| Ease of use | 11 of 46 (24%) |
| Strategic insights that improved campaigns | 9 of 46 (20%) |
| Easy setup | 9 of 46 (20%) |
| High cost, especially for small brands | 2 of 46 (4%) |
| Spam complaints from emailing identified visitors | 1 of 46 (2%) |
| Identified contacts hurting deliverability and engagement | 1 of 46 (2%) |
| Reporting that's hard to work with | 1 of 46 (2%) |
The praise centers on people: named success managers and a team that helps with integrations and campaign strategy. The criticisms are few but worth reading. One reviewer wasn't sure how much revenue Tie was generating and reported spam complaints from visitors they emailed; another, who has used it for several large clients, noted that identity-resolution tools in general can hurt deliverability if matches are weak. We found no Trustpilot profile for Tie or Revenue Roll.
Tie pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Identification, predictive scores and inbox placement from one credit balance | A 12-month contract on every plan, with the rest of the term due if you stop |
| Native Postscript and Attentive integrations alongside Klaviyo | Identification costs at least $24,000 a year billed monthly ($18,000 prepaid) |
| Match confidence thresholds and filters you set yourself | Aimed at brands with 100,000+ US visitors a month; Predict needs about 100,000 subscribers |
| Double opt-in consent model and SOC 2 Type I and II | Focused on US traffic; GDPR handled by avoiding exposure |
| Dedicated CSM and Slack channel from Launch up | Braze, Iterable and Bloomreach still coming soon |
| 4.8 out of 5 on G2 from 46 reviews | ACH auto-debit is the only payment method |
Is Tie worth it?
For a US-focused brand with 100,000+ monthly visitors and a large Klaviyo list, Tie can be worth a demo: it's one of the few vendors that identifies visitors, scores them and works on inbox placement under one contract, with SMS platforms connected natively. If you'd use all three products, Launch's 1.6 million credits often go further than buying three tools.
The case is weaker if you only want identification. You commit to at least $18,000 for the year, prepaid, and the per-credit price only holds if you use the balance. Opensend publishes per-identity prices with monthly billing, Retention.com bills month to month, and Upstack Audience, our product, is $200 a month for 8,000 matches; Audience is narrower than Tie (no scoring, no inbox placement, Klaviyo, Omnisend and Meta only) and needs an Upstack Signal plan. Our Tie alternatives guide compares them all.
