Voluum vs Hyros (2026): Affiliate Ad Tracking vs Sales Attribution, Features and Pricing Compared
Voluum is a campaign tracker for affiliates and media buyers: it tracks clicks, landers and offers across many traffic sources, records conversions by postback, and automates routing and bids, from $149 a month billed monthly. Hyros is sales attribution for businesses that own their product: it ties sales, leads and booked calls back to the ad that produced them, and quotes its price on a call. If you promote other people's offers, look at Voluum. If you sell your own, look at Hyros.
For this Voluum vs Hyros comparison, a companion to our guide to 10 Hyros alternatives, we checked both tools against their own pricing pages, product pages, help docs and terms on October 24, 2026. Upstack is our product and comes up once, near the end, with its limits stated. If neither fits, that guide covers the wider field, including tools for affiliates and media buyers.

Two different jobs
The quickest way to choose is to ask whose product you're selling.
Voluum is built for performance marketers who run traffic to offers: affiliates working with affiliate networks, media buyers testing landers across many traffic sources, and agencies running many campaigns at once. Its pricing page measures plans in active campaigns, landers, offers, traffic sources and affiliate networks, and its features (redirect modes, rule-based traffic distribution, landing-page protection, click caps) are about routing and testing traffic profitably.
Hyros is built for businesses that own the offer: course creators, coaches, high-ticket sellers, SaaS and ecommerce brands. Its pricing page asks for your business model (ecommerce, info marketing, call based, SaaS or agency) and your monthly revenue, and its product follows each buyer from ad click through the funnel to the sale, including sales that close on a call.
Some media buyers use both ideas: a tracker for testing traffic and an attribution tool for the sales behind it. Most businesses need one or the other.
How do Voluum and Hyros track conversions?
Voluum counts every tracked action as an event: a visit, a click, a conversion or an impression. Conversions come back when your offer or affiliate network fires a postback, or through Voluum's custom conversion tracking. Plans from Start-up up include cookieless tracking, and every plan supports redirect and direct tracking, per its pricing page.
Hyros uses AI Swarm tracking: your first-party live and historic data, combined with third-party signals, patterns from across the Hyros network and a device fingerprint, to recognize the same buyer across devices and sessions. Rather than waiting for a network postback, it reads sales directly from your checkout, CRM and booking tools.
That's the core difference. Voluum knows a conversion happened when a network tells it. Hyros knows because it's connected to where the money lands.
Automation and optimization
Voluum leans into automation for media buyers. Its plans include auto-rules and API integrations with Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok and more, rule-based traffic distribution, a Traffic Distribution AI that shifts traffic between landers and paths, an Anti-Fraud Kit and A/B split testing. Higher plans add more rules, workspaces and data retention, per its pricing page.
Hyros leans on attribution and people. Every plan includes a setup team and an AI analyst on your account, plus a Claude MCP interface for querying your data, and Hyros sends tracked sales back to ad platforms so their algorithms optimize on real buyers. Its pricing FAQ says its reporting even shows up inside Facebook Ads Manager.
If your daily work is pausing losing placements and rotating landers, Voluum's tooling is built for it. If it's deciding which ads produce paying customers weeks later, Hyros's is.
Sending conversions back to ad platforms
Voluum lists a "Conversion API postback for major traffic platforms" in its plan table: an add-on on the Agency plan ($799 a month billed annually) and included from Enterprise ($1,599 a month billed annually). The same table doesn't include it on Start-up.
Hyros pushes conversions back to Meta, Google and TikTok on its one plan, and its call tracking page describes sending booked calls and closes back to Meta and Google too.
If server-side conversions to Meta matter to you, check which Voluum plan you'd need before comparing prices.
Voluum vs Hyros pricing
Voluum publishes its prices. Individual plans, per its pricing page:
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Events included | Active campaigns |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profit | $149/mo | $119/mo | 1,000,000 | 20 |
| Scale | $349/mo | $299/mo | 5,000,000 | 60 |
| Start-up | $599/mo | $539/mo | 10,000,000 | 100 |
Business plans, billed annually, run from Start-up at $539 a month through Agency ($799), Enterprise ($1,599), Corporate ($3,999) and Executive ($7,999). Overage is charged per 1,000 events above your allowance, from $0.06 on Profit down to $0.05 on Scale and Start-up. Voluum offers annual deals of two to four years on request. We didn't find a free trial on its pricing page.
Hyros has one plan with everything included (a setup team, an AI analyst, full tracking and a Claude MCP interface), quoted on a 15-minute setup call, with a guarantee that your ads grow or you don't pay, per its pricing page. An older Hyros pricing page, still live, starts at $69 a month for up to $5,000 in tracked monthly revenue; our Hyros pricing guide has the full tier table. Hyros's terms renew orders automatically unless you cancel at least 30 days before the term ends, and refund requests must be made in writing within 90 days of the first charge.
The pricing models follow the jobs. Voluum charges by traffic volume, which suits affiliates whose costs scale with clicks. Hyros charges by revenue, which suits product owners whose value scales with sales.
Setup and support
Voluum is self-serve, with onboarding that grows with the plan. Per its pricing page, Profit and Scale include a one-hour onboarding call plus chat support in the panel (14 days on Profit, a month on Scale), and Start-up adds a week of individual onboarding and two months of chat support. Every plan includes automatic campaign migration from your old tracker, and the Business plans sell a managed setup as an add-on. Support response times run from 24 hours on Profit to one hour on the top Business plans.
Hyros sets you up with its team. Its pricing FAQ says setup takes about 15 minutes for most businesses, with one-click integrations and no developer needed, and that you can follow its guided setup or have its implementation team do it with you, the same day as your setup call. Complex funnels with several pages, a CRM and booking tools take longer, so agree on a go-live date. Our Hyros review covers what onboarding looks like in practice.
Can you use Voluum and Hyros together?
You can, and some businesses do: a media-buying team runs traffic tests in a tracker, while the business that owns the offer measures which ads produce buyers. The two answer different questions, so the overlap is small.
If you do, decide which tool sends conversions to each ad platform. Voluum's Conversion API postbacks and Hyros's conversion pushes can both reach Meta, and two sources for the same Purchase event can make Meta count sales twice. Our guide to Meta event duplication explains how to avoid it.
Which should you choose: Voluum or Hyros?

When neither is the right fit
Online stores sometimes land on both while looking for better ad tracking. Neither is built around the store order: Voluum around affiliate traffic, Hyros around funnels and calls.
Upstack Data, our product, is built for Shopify and DTC brands. Upstack Signal sends server-side events to Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and Microsoft Ads, matched against an identity graph of 750M+ devices and 150M+ customers. Upstack Attribution reports first-click, last-click and any-click attribution. Attribution is $99 a month for up to 1,000 orders and Attribution + Signal is $199, month to month, with a 21-day free trial and a 60-day 4x ROI guarantee.
Upstack doesn't track affiliate offers or route traffic like Voluum, doesn't track phone calls like Hyros, and doesn't do MMM or incrementality testing.
