7 Converge Alternatives Compared (2026): Attribution and Server-Side Tracking With Published Prices

The best Converge alternative depends on what you bought Converge for. For attribution plus server-side tracking at a published, per-order price, Upstack is $199 a month for up to 1,000 orders, month to month. For BI and an AI agent on top of attribution, Triple Whale. For MMM and incrementality alongside multi-touch attribution, Northbeam. For a data warehouse, Polar Analytics. For low-cost attribution with a self-serve trial, ThoughtMetric. If you only need cleaner events sent to your ad platforms, Elevar or TrackBee.

We checked every price, plan, trial and contract term for these Converge alternatives on each vendor's own site, docs or Shopify App Store listing on October 24, 2026. Converge here means Converge Technologies, the DTC attribution and tracking platform at runconverge.com, often searched as "Converge attribution". Upstack is our product and is in this list, with its limits stated as plainly as everyone else's. If Converge still fits after reading this, we say when.

What is Converge?

Converge Technologies, Inc. describes Converge as "the AI-native growth platform for DTC": agentic media buying built on multi-touch attribution and server-side tracking, per its homepage. Its documentation calls it an all-in-one marketing measurement platform for ecommerce, with two core products: Destinations, which forwards your tracked events to ad, analytics and email tools, and Analytics, which blends that first-party data with spend from your ad platforms.

On top of that sit three AI products: Agentic Media Buying, which proposes and makes budget changes inside your guardrails; Routines, which ship reports to Slack or email; and an MCP server for asking questions from Claude or ChatGPT. Our Converge review covers how each part works.

Why do people look for Converge alternatives?

Converge is a capable product, and the most complete match to Upstack in this list: attribution and server-side tracking for DTC brands in one platform. The reasons buyers compare it come down to terms, price visibility and scope:

  • No published price. The Converge pricing page says "Only pay for what you use", and every product leads to "Book a demo". You can't estimate a budget before the call. Our Converge pricing guide covers what to ask.
  • Order-form terms. Under Converge's terms, fees are set on an Order Form and are non-refundable, and subscriptions renew automatically for the expiring term or one year, whichever is shorter, unless either side gives written notice at least 30 days before the term ends.
  • No MMM or incrementality. The pricing page lists attribution, analytics and tracking, but no marketing mix modeling or incrementality testing.
  • More than you need. If you want attribution and clean events but no AI agent moving budget, part of what you'd pay for goes unused.
  • No Shopify App Store listing. We found none on October 24, 2026. Setup runs through Converge's own docs instead.

How we compared these tools

Each tool was checked on the same questions: what you pay for and whether a price is published; whether the contract is month to month; how it tracks (pixel, server-side events, identity); which attribution models and windows it offers; whether it offers MMM or incrementality; and where it can send events, including GA4. Upstack's facts come from our own pricing page and product documentation.

1. Upstack Data: published per-order pricing with server-side tracking and attribution

Upstack covers the same pair of jobs as Converge, tracking and attribution, with a published price and no annual order form.

Our take. Upstack is the closest like-for-like swap for Converge's tracking and attribution at a price you can see before a call. Attribution + Signal is $199 a month for up to 1,000 orders, month to month, with a 21-day free trial. What you give up: there's no AI agent that moves budget for you, no GA4 destination, no MMM or incrementality testing, and three attribution models rather than Converge's long list.

Skip it if you want an agent that shifts budget for you, or GA4 as a destination. See our Upstack vs Converge comparison for the row-by-row detail.

How it tracks, attribution, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Shopify and DTC brands that want attribution and server-side events from one vendor at a published price.
How it tracks
Server-side tracking with identity resolution and no Google Tag Manager container. Identity persists for the life of the customer, using deterministic and probabilistic matching against a graph of 750M+ devices and 150M+ customers. Events go to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, Microsoft Ads and Klaviyo, and a resolved event stream can go to BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift.
Attribution
First-click, last-click and any-click models with unlimited lookback, plus contribution margin, LTV, payback and cohort reporting.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per order and month to month, per our pricing page. Attribution is $99 a month for up to 1,000 orders, $249 for up to 10,000 and $699 for up to 30,000. Attribution + Signal is $199, $499 and $1,499 at the same volumes. There's a 21-day free trial, a 60-day 4x ROI guarantee, and setup takes under 20 minutes.
Strengths
Published prices, no annual commitment, and identity resolution that isn't limited to deterministic signals.
Limitations
Built for Shopify and DTC brands. No AI media-buying agent, no GA4 destination, no MMM or incrementality testing, and fewer attribution models than Converge.

2. Triple Whale: attribution, BI and an AI agent priced on GMV

Triple Whale is the broadest suite here: attribution, dashboards, an AI agent and server-side sending to ad platforms.

Our take. Triple Whale suits Shopify brands that want BI and an AI agent alongside attribution and are comfortable with revenue-based pricing. Its free plan lets you start without a call, which Converge doesn't offer. The trade-off is the pricing structure: paid plans follow GMV and run on 12-month subscriptions, so the bill rises as you grow.

Skip it if you left Converge to avoid an annual commitment. Compare it with us on our Upstack vs Triple Whale page.

How it tracks, attribution, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Shopify brands that want attribution, BI dashboards and an AI agent in one tool.
How it tracks
The Triple Pixel plus store and ad account connections. Its Sonar Optimize guide lists server-side sending to 10 platforms, including Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat and Pinterest.
Attribution
Every model on its pricing page, including Total Impact, with first- and last-click on the free plan. Compass adds marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing; it's included on Enterprise and an add-on on lower plans. Our explainer What is Triple Whale? covers it.
Pricing (October 2026)
Priced on GMV. Its Shopify App Store listing shows a free plan, Foundation at $219 a month or $2,190 a year, and Automate at $749 a month or $7,490 a year. Paid plans are 12-month subscriptions, per the pricing page. Our Triple Whale pricing guide breaks down the bands.
Strengths
A free plan, broad server-side sending, and BI and AI features in one place.
Limitations
GMV-based pricing and 12-month terms. 4.1 stars from 94 Shopify reviews.

Source: Triple Whale pricing page, checked October 2026.

3. Northbeam: multi-touch attribution with MMM+ and incrementality

Northbeam is the pick when the reason you're leaving Converge is that you need measurement beyond multi-touch attribution.

Our take. Northbeam is built for large ad budgets that want MTA, marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing from one vendor, which Converge doesn't list. Starter runs month to month from $1,500, but MMM+ is an Enterprise add-on and incrementality starts on Professional, an annual plan from $3,500 a month. Implementation takes two to four weeks on Shopify.

Skip it if $1,500 a month is a large share of your ad budget: at $15,000 a month in ad spend, Starter is 10% of it. Our Northbeam review covers who it fits.

How it tracks, attribution, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Brands with large ad budgets that want MTA, MMM and incrementality in one platform.
How it tracks
A pixel on every page, plus Clicks + Deterministic Views, which counts a view only when the ad platform verifies it. Apex sends Northbeam's attributed credit to Meta for Custom Attribution and to AppLovin, per its Apex docs.
Attribution
Seven models, per its attribution model docs, with click windows from 1 to 90 days plus LTV.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per the Northbeam pricing page, Starter is $1,500 for brands spending under $1.5M a year on ads, month to month. Professional is $3,500 a month on annual terms for brands spending up to $500K a month. Growth and Enterprise are custom, and pageviews inform the final price. Incrementality is optional on Professional and Enterprise; MMM+ is optional on Enterprise. See our Northbeam pricing guide.
Strengths
MMM and incrementality alongside MTA, and verified view-through attribution.
Limitations
A high entry price, annual terms above Starter, and a two-to-four-week implementation.

4. Polar Analytics: a Snowflake warehouse and BI with attribution

Polar sells a data platform first, with attribution and tracking built on top.

Our take. Polar is the pick if an analyst or agency will use what it sells first: a dedicated Snowflake database on every plan, BI dashboards and an AI agent, alongside a server-side pixel and eight attribution models. Like Triple Whale, it prices on GMV, from $750 a month on its Shopify listing. Incrementality testing and its Advertising Signals for Meta and Google come on the Custom plan.

Skip it if nobody on your team will use the warehouse. Our Polar Analytics vs Triple Whale comparison goes deeper.

How it tracks, attribution, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Brands with an analyst or agency that wants a warehouse and BI alongside attribution.
How it tracks
A first-party pixel included on every plan, per its pricing page. Advertising Signals, which send conversions to the Meta and Google Ads Conversions APIs, are part of the Custom plan.
Attribution
Eight models in its help center, with First Click the default and Full Impact using Shapley values.
Pricing (October 2026)
Priced on online GMV. Its Shopify App Store listing shows the Core plan from $750 a month, billed every 30 days, with discounts for annual terms. The pricing page lists Core and Custom with no prices.
Strengths
Warehouse depth no other tool here matches, and 4.9 stars from 116 Shopify reviews.
Limitations
GMV-based pricing, and server-side signals to ad platforms only on the Custom plan.

Source: Polar Analytics pricing page, checked October 2026.

5. ThoughtMetric: self-serve attribution with every feature on every plan

ThoughtMetric is the low-cost, self-serve option: published prices, a free trial and no feature gating.

Our take. ThoughtMetric suits brands that want multi-touch attribution and post-purchase surveys without a sales call or a contract. Every feature is on every plan, it offers a 14-day free trial, and its pricing page says no enterprise contracts are required. The catch is that the bill follows pageviews rather than sales, and it doesn't offer MMM or incrementality.

Skip it if you have high traffic and a low conversion rate, which pageview pricing penalizes.

How it tracks, attribution, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Smaller brands that want attribution and surveys without a demo or an annual term.
How it tracks
Server-side tagging and Conversion API sending, combined with "How did you hear about us?" surveys, per its pricing page.
Attribution
Five models, per the same page.
Pricing (October 2026)
Priced on monthly pageviews. Its Shopify App Store listing shows $99 a month for up to 50,000 pageviews, $199 for 100,000, $299 for 200,000 and $399 for 300,000, or about 17% less billed yearly ($990 a year at the first tier). Its own pricing page offers a 14-day free trial.
Strengths
A low entry price, no feature gating and no enterprise contract.
Limitations
Pageview pricing rises with traffic, not sales. 4.0 stars from 15 Shopify reviews.

Source: ThoughtMetric pricing page, checked October 2026.

6. Elevar: server-side events without attribution reports

Elevar is an alternative only to Converge's tracking half. It doesn't report attribution.

Our take. If what you valued in Converge was clean server-side events to Meta, Google and Klaviyo, Elevar does that with a mature Shopify data layer, with or without Google Tag Manager, and a published price. It doesn't replace Converge's attribution reports or its AI agent, and its lower plans limit destinations: Core sends to two advertising or analytics tools, so Klaviyo needs Advanced at $650 a month.

Skip it if you need attribution from the same tool. See our Upstack vs Elevar comparison.

How it tracks, attribution, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Teams that want a Shopify data layer and server-side events, and run attribution elsewhere.
How it tracks
A data layer that feeds Shopify's Web Pixel and server-side tracking, with a GTM setup or a GTM-less setup, per its docs.
Attribution
No attribution reports. Its Attribution Feed is in beta with first and last touch only.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per order, billed every 30 days. Per its Shopify App Store listing and the Audiense Online pricing page, Base is free to 100 orders, Core is $225 a month for 2,000 orders, Advanced $650 for 10,000 and Premium $1,250 for 30,000, with Elite from $3,000. Paid plans have a 15-day trial. Our Elevar pricing guide has the destination rules.
Strengths
A mature data layer, many destinations on the higher plans, and 4.8 stars from 170 Shopify reviews.
Limitations
No attribution reporting, and destination limits on Base and Core.

Source: Audiense Online pricing page, checked October 2026.

7. TrackBee: low-cost Shopify tracking priced on tracked revenue

TrackBee is the cheapest paid tracking option here, and like Elevar it covers Converge's tracking, not its attribution.

Our take. TrackBee sends server-side events to 19 integrations on every plan, including GA4 through the Measurement Protocol, with a 30-day trial that needs no card. It prices on the revenue it tracks rather than on orders or pageviews. It isn't an attribution platform, so pair it with one if you're replacing Converge's reports.

Skip it if you need attribution, not only events. Our TrackBee vs WeTracked comparison covers it in detail.

How it tracks, attribution, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Smaller Shopify stores that want server-side events to ad platforms, Klaviyo and GA4 at a low price.
How it tracks
Server-side events to 19 integrations, including Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and Microsoft Ads, Klaviyo and GA4, per its integrations page.
Attribution
No attribution platform; an Insights add-on costs $19.99 a month.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per the TrackBee pricing page, Start is $79 a month for up to $25K in tracked revenue, Pro $199 for $100K and Scale $449 for $500K, with every integration on every plan and a 30-day trial with no card.
Strengths
Low entry price, GA4 among its destinations, and a card-free trial.
Limitations
No attribution reports, and pricing that rises with revenue. 4.8 stars from 8 Shopify reviews.

When to stay on Converge

Converge is the better choice if these describe you:

  • You use the agent. If Agentic Media Buying already proposes and executes budget changes you approve, none of the alternatives above does the same job.
  • You send to many destinations. Its integrations page lists 26 ad platforms, including affiliate networks such as Awin, CJ, impact.com and Rakuten and CTV tools such as Tatari and MNTN, plus GA4, Segment and BigQuery.
  • You run several stores or a custom stack. Its pricing page lists unlimited stores, sources and destinations, headless and custom setups and cross-domain tracking.
  • You want many attribution models. Its docs describe 15 models, from first and last touch to J-shaped and time decay, with click-time and conversion-time accounting.

How to switch from Converge

  1. Check your renewal date. Converge's terms renew a subscription automatically unless you give written notice, by email, at least 30 days before the term ends. Note the date before you start.
  2. Export what you need. If you stream data to BigQuery through Converge, keep that history. Download any reports you'll want to compare against.
  3. Install the new tool and run both. Run them side by side for two to four weeks, but don't let both send the same purchase events to the same ad platform. Switch one destination at a time.
  4. Remove Converge's tracking. Disconnect its storefront and store backend sources, then confirm your ad platforms receive events only from the new tool.
  5. Compare like with like. When you check the new numbers against Converge's, match the attribution model and window.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best alternative to Converge?

It depends on why you're leaving. For attribution and server-side tracking at a published price, Upstack. For BI and an AI agent, Triple Whale. For MMM and incrementality, Northbeam. For a data warehouse, Polar Analytics. For a low-cost, self-serve option, ThoughtMetric. For tracking only, Elevar or TrackBee.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Converge?

Converge doesn't publish prices, so a direct comparison needs a quote. Among the alternatives with published prices, ThoughtMetric starts at $99 a month, TrackBee at $79, Upstack Attribution at $99 and Attribution + Signal at $199 for up to 1,000 orders, and Triple Whale has a free plan.

Does Converge publish its pricing?

No. Its pricing page says "Only pay for what you use" and asks you to book a demo for every product. Fees are set on an Order Form.

Which Converge alternatives offer MMM or incrementality testing?

Northbeam offers MMM+ as an Enterprise add-on and incrementality on Professional and Enterprise. Triple Whale's Compass covers both; it's included on Enterprise and an add-on on lower plans. Polar offers incrementality testing on its Custom plan. Converge's pricing page lists neither, and Upstack, ThoughtMetric, Elevar and TrackBee don't offer MMM.

Which alternatives send events to GA4?

Converge does, as do TrackBee (through the Measurement Protocol) and Elevar. Upstack doesn't send events to GA4.

Does Converge have a free trial?

None is published. Every product on its pricing page leads to a demo, while Upstack, ThoughtMetric, Elevar and TrackBee publish trials.

Can I run Converge and another tool at the same time?

Yes, for a comparison period. Avoid sending the same purchase events to the same ad platform from both, or you'll double-count conversions there. Move one destination at a time.
