Northbeam Pricing (2026): Plans, Ad-Spend Bands, Add-Ons and Contract Terms Explained

Northbeam has four plans, matched to how much you spend on ads. Starter is from $1,500 a month, month to month, for brands spending under $1.5M a year on ads. Professional is from $3,500 a month on an annual term, for brands spending up to $500K a month. Growth and Enterprise are quoted. Your final price is informed by your site's pageviews, and there's no free trial.

For the wider field, see our comparison of 8 Northbeam alternatives. Every figure on this page comes from Northbeam's pricing page, its help docs and its Shopify App Store listing, checked on October 23 and 24, 2026. Upstack is our product and competes with Northbeam on attribution for Shopify brands, so we've kept our own prices to one table near the end.

EnterpriseQuotedBrands spending more than $500K a month on adsAnnualA Customer Success Manager and Slack channel, optional hourly conversion data, granular touchpoint exports and geo dashboards; optional MMM+ and Incrementality

The two published prices are floors. Northbeam's pricing FAQ says your monthly price is informed by the volume of data your site generates, measured in pageviews, and that it estimates the rate until it has learned more about your business. So the honest answer to "how much is Northbeam?" is: $1,500 a month or more on Starter, $3,500 a month or more on Professional, and a quote for everything else.

What the first year costs

Because Professional and Enterprise are annual terms, the useful number is the year, not the month. At the published floors:

PlanMonthly floorFirst year at the floorCommitment
Starter$1,500$18,000Month to month
Professional$3,500$42,00012 months, billed annually or semi-annually
GrowthQuotedQuotedNot stated
EnterpriseQuotedQuoted12 months, billed annually or semi-annually

Those are minimums before pageview adjustments and add-ons. MMM+ and Incrementality are quoted on top.

How does Northbeam pricing work?

Six rules from the pricing page, its FAQ and the help docs decide what you pay:

  1. Ad spend picks the plan. The plan cards set the bands: Growth under $200K a month through an agency partner, Starter under $1.5M a year (about $125K a month), Professional up to $500K a month, and Enterprise above that.
  2. Pageviews set the rate inside the plan. The FAQ ties your monthly price to the pageviews your site generates. The Shopify App Store listing says plans are priced on page views and data refresh cadence.
  3. Only Starter is month to month. The FAQ describes Starter as month-to-month, usage-based pricing for early-stage Shopify brands. Professional and Enterprise are annual terms, billed annually or semi-annually.
  4. Add-ons are quoted. MMM+ is optional on Enterprise only. Incrementality is optional on Professional and Enterprise. Neither has a published price.
  5. Some tools come with every plan. Northbeam AI and the Northbeam MCP are included on every plan, and the plan cards list Apex and Clicks + Deterministic Views from Starter up.
  6. Your checkout platform matters. Starter is aimed at Shopify brands. Northbeam's pixel docs say a store that doesn't use Shopify's checkout needs Professional or Enterprise.

One inconsistency is worth raising on a sales call: the plan cards put Enterprise above $500K a month in ad spend, while the FAQ recommends Enterprise for brands spending more than $250K a month. If you're between those two numbers, ask which plan you'd be quoted.

What's included in each Northbeam plan?

Northbeam Growth

Growth is sold with a Northbeam agency partner, for seven-figure brands spending under $200K a month on ads. It includes multi-touch attribution, dashboards and the MCP, and the agency handles creative and media buying support. There's no published price or term, so the cost depends on the agency arrangement as well as Northbeam's fee.

Northbeam Starter

Starter is the self-serve entry point for Shopify brands spending under $1.5M a year on ads. You get first-party multi-touch attribution, omnichannel dashboards, Apex (which sends Northbeam's attribution back to Meta and AppLovin), Clicks + Deterministic Views and the MCP. Support is lighter: per Northbeam's implementation guide, Starter gets ticket support and documentation, with no Customer Success Manager, platform walkthrough or Media Strategy team.

Northbeam Professional

Professional is from $3,500 a month on an annual term, for brands spending up to $500K a month. It removes the limits on users, exports and integrations, works with any ecommerce platform rather than only Shopify, and adds a dedicated Media Strategist. Incrementality testing is an optional add-on here.

Northbeam Enterprise

Enterprise is quoted, for brands spending more than $500K a month. It adds a Customer Success Manager and a shared Slack channel, optional hourly conversion data, granular touchpoint exports and geo dashboards. It's the only plan where MMM+ is available, and Incrementality is optional here too.

Northbeam add-ons: MMM+ and Incrementality

Both of Northbeam's measurement add-ons are quoted. Neither has a published price.

Add-onWhat it doesAvailable onPublished price
MMM+Marketing mix modeling retrained daily, with forecasts and budget allocations, built on Northbeam's own attribution dataEnterprise onlyNot published
IncrementalityTest designs generated from your spend, channel mix, conversion lag and KPIsProfessional and EnterpriseNot published

If MMM is a reason you're looking at Northbeam, price it before you commit: it means Enterprise plus an add-on, not Starter or Professional. Brands that want MMM or experiments without Northbeam's attribution have dedicated options, compared in our Paramark vs Northbeam and Fospha vs Northbeam posts. For what each method answers, see our guide to MTA vs MMM vs incrementality.

Do Northbeam plans come with ad credits?

Yes. The pricing page lists ad credits from Northbeam's ad platform partners on every plan:

PlanAd credits, up to
Growth$50,000
Starter$100,000
Professional$150,000
Enterprise$200,000

These are credits toward ad spend on partner platforms, not a discount on Northbeam's fee. Ask which platforms they apply to and what conditions come with them before you count them against the subscription.

Northbeam prices you'll see elsewhere, and why they differ

Search for Northbeam pricing and you'll find numbers that don't match this page:

  • G2's pricing tab. When we checked on October 24, 2026, G2 listed Starter MTA at $1,000 and Professional MTA at $2,500. Northbeam's own page shows $1,500 and $3,500. G2 is a third-party listing, so go by northbeam.io and a written quote.
  • Two Enterprise thresholds. The plan cards and the FAQ disagree on when Enterprise applies ($500K a month on the cards, $250K in the FAQ), so two people at the same spend can be told different things.
  • Quotes above the floor. Because pageviews feed the rate, a quote for Starter or Professional can come in above the published "from" price. That's how the pricing is designed, not a hidden fee.

If a number you've seen doesn't match a quote, ask Northbeam which plan, spend band and pageview volume it applies to.

Does Northbeam have a free trial?

No. Every plan's button on the pricing page books a demo, and we found no trial on the pricing page or in the help docs.

Onboarding also takes time. Northbeam's implementation guide puts it at 2 to 4 weeks for Shopify stores and 4 to 8 weeks for other platforms, with at least 3 fully tracked days before Northbeam validates your data. On Starter, that period comes out of a month-to-month plan, so ask when billing starts.

Can you cancel Northbeam at any time?

On Starter, yes: it's month to month. Professional and Enterprise are annual terms, billed annually or semi-annually, so you can't leave mid-term. If you're on one of those plans and weighing a change, note your renewal date first. Our Northbeam alternatives guide covers how to run a replacement alongside Northbeam before that date.

What Northbeam costs at your ad spend

Because the plan follows ad spend, the clearest way to judge the price is as a share of your media budget. These examples use the published floors, with no add-ons, no pageview adjustment and no ad credits netted off:

Monthly ad spendLikely planMonthly floorFirst year at the floorShare of ad spend
$15,000Starter$1,500$18,00010%
$50,000Starter$1,500$18,0003%
$125,000Starter at the top of its band, or Professional$1,500, or $3,500$18,000, or $42,0001.2%, or 2.8%
$300,000Professional, or Enterprise per the FAQ$3,500, or quoted$42,000, or quoted1.2%, or quoted

Three things stand out. Below about $20,000 a month in ad spend, Starter's floor is a large slice of the budget. Around $125,000 a month you sit at the edge of two plans, and the step to Professional also brings a 12-month term. Above $250,000 a month, Northbeam's own FAQ points you to Enterprise, which is quoted.

Growth doesn't appear in the table because it's sold through agency partners for brands under $200K a month, with no published price.

Is Northbeam worth the price?

Our take. Northbeam is worth its price for brands spending six figures a month across several channels that will use what sets it apart: Clicks + Deterministic Views for platform-verified views, Apex to feed its attribution back to Meta and AppLovin, a Media Strategist on Professional, and MMM+ and incrementality on the plans that offer them. It's harder to justify if you mainly advertise on Meta and Google and need multi-touch attribution plus clean conversion data for the ad platforms. Then you're paying an ad-spend-based price for a measurement suite you'll only partly use.

Monthly ad spendWhat usually decides it
Under $20,000Whether attribution alone is worth at least 7.5% of your media budget. Usually it isn't.
$20,000 to $125,000Whether Starter's models and C+DV change budget decisions enough without a Customer Success Manager or strategist.
$125,000 to $500,000Whether you'll use the Media Strategist and Incrementality on Professional, and accept a 12-month term.
Over $500,000Whether you'll buy MMM+ and Incrementality on Enterprise, which is where Northbeam's full suite lives.

A few notes on reading that table:

  • Triple Whale prices by GMV, not ad spend, so a store with high revenue and modest ad spend can pay more there and less on Northbeam, or the reverse. Our Triple Whale pricing guide has the detail, and Triple Whale vs Northbeam compares the two.
  • Rockerbox books a demo for every plan, per its plans page. Our Northbeam vs Rockerbox comparison covers the products.
  • Fospha publishes no prices on its pricing page and says it's built for brands spending over $150K a month on advertising.
  • Paramark publishes annual prices on its pricing page: Essentials is $100,000 a year billed annually, or $120,000 billed monthly.
  • Upstack prices by orders. Upstack Attribution is $99 a month for up to 1,000 orders and $249 for up to 10,000, and Attribution + Signal, which adds server-side tracking, is from $199 a month. Both are month to month with a 21-day free trial and a 60-day 4x ROI guarantee. Upstack doesn't offer MMM, incrementality testing or view-through attribution, so it's an alternative to Northbeam's attribution, not to its whole suite.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Northbeam cost per month?

Northbeam's pricing page lists Starter from $1,500 a month, month to month, for brands spending under $1.5M a year on ads, and Professional from $3,500 a month on an annual term for brands spending up to $500K a month. Growth and Enterprise are quoted. Your actual price is informed by your site's pageviews.

Does Northbeam have a free trial?

No. Every plan starts with a demo, and we found no free trial on the pricing page or in the help docs. Implementation takes 2 to 4 weeks on Shopify and 4 to 8 weeks elsewhere.

Is Northbeam month to month?

Only Starter. Professional and Enterprise are annual terms, billed annually or semi-annually. Growth's term isn't published.

Why does Northbeam price by pageviews?

Northbeam's FAQ says your monthly price is informed by the volume of data your site generates, measured in pageviews. Its Shopify App Store listing adds data refresh cadence as a factor. Northbeam estimates your rate until it has learned more about your business.

How much is Northbeam MMM+?

Northbeam doesn't publish a price. MMM+ is an optional add-on on Enterprise only, so using it means an Enterprise quote plus the add-on. Incrementality is a separate add-on on Professional and Enterprise, also unpriced.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Northbeam?

Yes, depending on what you need. Triple Whale's Foundation plan is listed from $219 a month on a 12-month term. Upstack Attribution is $99 a month for up to 1,000 orders, month to month. Neither matches Northbeam's MMM+ and incrementality add-ons. Our Northbeam alternatives guide compares eight options.

Does Northbeam give ad credits?

Yes. Northbeam's pricing page lists ad credits from its ad platform partners of up to $50,000 on Growth, $100,000 on Starter, $150,000 on Professional and $200,000 on Enterprise. They offset ad spend on partner platforms, not Northbeam's fee.

Compare Northbeam with a per-order alternative

If your Northbeam quote is mostly paying for multi-touch attribution and conversion data for Meta and Google, see our Upstack vs Northbeam comparison. It sets the two side by side on tracking, attribution models, pricing and contract terms, including the MMM and incrementality features Upstack doesn't offer.
