The best Elevar alternative depends on why you're leaving. For the closest swap without Google Tag Manager, Littledata prices per order and includes all 9 of its destinations on every plan. For server-side events with identity resolution, Upstack Signal is $149 a month for up to 1,000 orders. To keep GTM, Analyzify sets it up for you, and Stape hosts server-side containers from $20 a month. If you only advertise on Meta and Google, Shopify's free channel apps may be all you need.
We checked every price, plan, trial and feature claim for these Elevar alternatives on each vendor's own site or Shopify App Store listing on October 23, 2026. Upstack Signal is our product and sits in the first group, with its limitations listed as plainly as everyone else's. If Elevar still fits after reading this, we say when.

Teams that want a Shopify data layer to build on
Shopify app; data layer feeds GTM, Shopify's Web Pixel and server-side tracking
Sources for every row are linked in the tool's own section below.
What happened to Elevar?
In July 2026, Audiense announced a new brand that puts Buxton, Elevar and Audiense under one name. Buxton, backed by PSG Equity, bought Elevar in 2024 and Audiense in 2025. Under the new brand, Elevar becomes an Audiense product name, and Elevar's conversion tracking is sold as Audiense Online, with its prices on the Audiense Online pricing page.
For a Shopify merchant, the visible change so far is the name. The app is still on the Shopify App Store as "Elevar from Audiense", developer Elevar, LLC, with 4.8 stars from 170 reviews and a 15-day free trial when we checked on October 23, 2026. Its data layer still feeds Google Tag Manager, Shopify's Web Pixel and server-side tracking.
If you've seen "Elevar by Audiense" on an invoice or a login page, it's the same product under its owner's new brand.
Why do people look for Elevar alternatives?
Elevar holds 4.8 stars from 170 App Store reviews, so this isn't a list of complaints about its data. The reasons that come up:
The rebrand prompts a review. A change of owner and name is a natural point to check whether you're still on the right plan, or the right tool.
Destination limits on the lower plans. Core includes 2 destinations. A brand sending to Meta, Google, TikTok and Klaviyo needs Advanced, or pays $125 a month for each extra destination on Core.
Google Tag Manager upkeep. Elevar's data layer is built to feed GTM. If nobody on your team works in GTM, you depend on an agency or Elevar's paid installation, and a theme change or new app can break a tag.
Wanting identity, not only events. Several tools here now sell identity work alongside event forwarding: Upstack's identity graph, Blotout's persistent identity, Aimerce's Durable ID and Littledata's Persistent ID on its Scale plan.
On price, Elevar charges by orders and destinations. Its App Store listing shows a free Base plan to 100 orders, then Core at $225 a month for 2,000 orders, Advanced at $650 for 10,000 orders and Premium at $1,250 for 30,000 orders, with per-order overage from $0.75 on Base down to $0.10 on Premium. The Audiense pricing page adds Elite from $3,000 a month, expert installation at $1,000, and headless or API installation at $4,500. For the full breakdown and a cost comparison at the same order volume, see our Upstack vs Elevar comparison.
How we compared these tools
Each tool was checked on the same questions: whether you maintain a Google Tag Manager container; what you pay for and the lowest published price; which destinations it sends to; whether it recognizes visitors beyond a single browser cookie; whether you can try it first, and on what terms; and who should skip it. Everything comes from vendor pricing pages, product pages, help docs and Shopify App Store listings, checked October 23, 2026. Where a vendor publishes no trial we say so, and we left out third-party review-site ratings because we didn't check them. For background on why server-side tracking matters, see our server-side tracking guide.
Elevar alternatives that don't need Google Tag Manager
These four install as Shopify apps and send events server-side without a GTM container for you to maintain.
1
1. Littledata: the closest swap, with no GTM to maintain
Our take. Littledata is the most direct replacement: a Shopify data layer with server-side tracking, priced per order, and no Google Tag Manager. Every plan includes all 9 of its destinations, where Elevar's Core plan includes 2. Flex has no monthly minimum, which suits small stores, but at $0.35 an order it costs more than Scale once you pass about 570 orders a month.
Shopify brands that want Elevar's job done without GTM, with GA4, Meta and Klaviyo as their main destinations.
How it works
Server-side tracking for GA4, Meta and Klaviyo, set up without GTM or developers, per its Shopify App Store listing. An Event Editor enriches events with metafields and filters them by rules without code, and Profit Signal works with Google Ads and Meta. Scale adds Session Enrichment with a Persistent ID, a Segment destination, and headless and Hydrogen support.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per Littledata's Shopify App Store listing, Flex is $0.35 per order with no monthly minimum. Scale is $199 a month with 1,500 orders included, then $0.15 an order to 3,000 and $0.06 above. Plus is $990 a month, or $9,504 a year, with 10,000 orders included, then $0.03 an order to 50,000 and $0.02 above. Every plan has a 30-day free trial. Littledata's own plans page shows the annual-equivalent prices of $159 and $792 a month for Scale and Plus.
Strengths
No GTM, all 9 destinations on every plan, and a 30-day trial. 4.8 stars from 147 reviews on the App Store.
Limitations
Flex gets expensive fast: 2,000 orders a month is $700, against $274 on Scale. Persistent ID and headless support start at Scale.
2. Upstack Signal: server-side tracking with identity resolution
Upstack is our product, so read this section knowing that.
Our take. Signal does Elevar's core job, sending complete server-side events to Meta, Google, TikTok and Klaviyo, without a GTM container. The difference is what happens before an event leaves: each visitor is resolved against our identity graph of 750M+ devices and 150M+ customers, so events carry an identity the platform can match. It's priced per order from $149 a month, with no free plan and no data layer for teams that want to build their own tags.
Skip it if your team wants to own every tag in GTM. Our Upstack vs Elevar comparison covers that trade-off in detail.
How it works, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Shopify and DTC brands that want first-party server-side tracking and identity resolution without maintaining GTM.
How it works
Upstack Signal collects events first-party and sends them server-side, with no GTM containers. Visitors are resolved using deterministic and probabilistic matching, and an Upstack ID persists for the life of the customer, so a returning shopper on a new device or browser can still be recognized. Setup takes under 20 minutes. We target an Event Match Quality of 7.5+ and a Meta match rate of 90%+; those are our own figures, not an independent audit.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per order and month to month: $149 a month to 1,000 orders, $249 to 3,000, $399 to 10,000, $699 to 15,000, $1,199 to 30,000 and $1,599 to 50,000, then quoted. Overage runs from $0.10 down to $0.05 an order. 21-day free trial with no credit card, and a 60-day results guarantee. Every band is on our pricing page. For reporting as well, Upstack Attribution + Signal is $199 a month at the same volume.
Strengths
No container to maintain, identity resolution included, every supported destination on every band, and no annual term.
Limitations
No free plan, where Elevar's Base is free to 100 orders. No data layer for building your own tags. Published bands stop at 50,000 orders. For a small store it costs more than WeTracked or Shopify's free apps.
3. Aimerce: longer cookie life for Klaviyo and Meta
Our take. Aimerce is built around its Durable ID, a first-party pixel that tracks a visitor for up to a year instead of Safari's 7 days, and around Klaviyo, where it sends more abandoned-cart events into your flows. It suits Klaviyo-heavy brands. It starts at $299 a month for 1,000 orders, the highest entry price among the per-order apps here.
Skip it if klaviyo isn't central to your revenue and you're under 1,000 orders a month. See our Upstack vs Aimerce comparison.
How it works, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Shopify brands whose Klaviyo flows and Meta retargeting lose returning visitors to short cookie life.
How it works
Per its how it works page, Aimerce installs in about 20 minutes, tracks server-side, and uses Durable ID to identify returning and cross-device visitors. It adds a Meta Conversions API enhancer, Google Ads Enhanced Conversions, health and wellness custom events, and Aima, an AI analyst agent. Integrations include Klaviyo, Omnisend, Attentive, Postscript, Meta, Google Ads and TikTok.
Pricing (October 2026)
Billed monthly, Essential is $299 a month for 1,000 orders plus $0.10 per extra order, Growth $499 for 10,000 plus $0.05, and Enterprise $1,799 for 50,000 plus $0.03, per its pricing page. Billed annually the same plans are $2,870, $4,790 and $17,270 a year. Cancel anytime, with a 30-day free trial and a money-back guarantee.
Strengths
A strong Klaviyo and SMS focus, a long trial, and Growth covers 10,000 orders for $499.
Limitations
You pay $299 even below 1,000 orders. Essential's allowance runs out quickly: at 3,000 orders it costs $499, the same as Growth. Its revenue-lift claims are its own.
4. WeTracked: low-cost tracking for small and multi-store sellers
Our take. WeTracked is the cheapest paid app here: $49 a month for 500 orders across up to 3 stores, with a 14-day trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee. It's built for ad platforms, with filters that control which orders each platform sees. The published plans stop at 7,500 orders a month.
Skip it if you're above 7,500 orders a month or want a data layer to build your own tags on. See our Upstack vs WeTracked comparison.
How it works, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Small and multi-store Shopify sellers running Meta, Google and TikTok ads.
How it works
Per its features page, WeTracked captures page views, add-to-carts, orders and revenue automatically, and builds what it calls a cookie-proof digital fingerprint. You can connect unlimited ad accounts and filter orders by country, value, product or source for each platform. It sends to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and X, and sets up in about 5 minutes.
Pricing (October 2026)
Billed monthly, $49 a month for 500 orders and 3 stores, $149 for 3,000 orders and 5 stores, and $249 for 7,500 orders and 10 stores, per its pricing page. Billed yearly the same plans are $39.20, $119 and $199 a month. 14-day free trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee.
Strengths
The lowest paid entry price, several stores on every plan, and order filters per ad platform.
Limitations
Plans stop at 7,500 orders a month. It describes its method as a digital fingerprint and markets bypassing ad blockers, so check that fits your consent setup. Its accuracy claims are its own.
If your team likes owning tags in GTM, these two keep that model and change who does the work.

5. Analyzify: GTM set up and maintained for you
Our take. Analyzify is the nearest match for teams that like Elevar's GTM approach but want the setup done for them. It ships pre-built GTM containers, includes professional implementation on yearly plans, and prices by order band rather than per order. There's no traditional free trial.
Skip it if you want to be rid of GTM entirely.
How it works, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Shopify brands with GTM in their stack that want expert setup and a fixed monthly price.
How it works
A unified pixel for 10+ platforms, server-side tracking, pre-built GTM containers with managed server-side GTM available, purchase attribution, and refund and COGS tracking. Plus adds campaign-level revenue attribution, marketing analytics inside Shopify, audience segments, post-purchase surveys and headless support. Analyzify says 3,000+ Shopify stores use it.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per its pricing page, Standard is $145 a month billed monthly, or $109 a month billed yearly ($1,305 a year), up to 5,000 orders. Plus is $275 a month billed monthly, or $206 billed yearly ($2,475 a year), up to 50,000 orders. Higher order bands cost more. Implementation is free on yearly plans and a $295 one-time fee on monthly plans. Managed server-side GTM hosted on Stape is a $1,490 add-on, with Stape's hosting from about $20 a month paid to Stape. Every plan carries a 2-year price lock.
Strengths
A fixed price up to 5,000 orders, GTM containers you own, and onboarding calls on every plan.
Limitations
No traditional free trial. The lowest price needs a yearly commitment. You still have a GTM container to keep working, and server-side GTM costs extra.
6. Stape: server-side GTM hosting, priced by requests
Our take. Stape isn't a like-for-like Elevar replacement. It hosts server-side Google Tag Manager containers, and you or an agency build the tags. If you have that skill in-house, it's the cheapest way to run server-side tracking at volume. If you don't, the savings go to whoever sets it up.
Teams with GTM skills that want server-side tracking on infrastructure they control.
How it works
You run a server GTM container on Stape's hosting and send events from it to your destinations. Pricing is based on requests to the container, not orders.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per its pricing page, the Free plan covers 10,000 requests a month. Pro is $20 a month billed monthly, or $17 billed annually, for 500,000 requests. Business is $100 ($83 annually) for 5M requests and Enterprise $200 ($167) for 20M, with custom plans above that.
Strengths
The lowest running cost at volume, no per-order fee, and a free plan to test with.
Limitations
You build and maintain the tags. Requests aren't orders, so estimating the bill means counting page views and events.
7. Blotout: first-party infrastructure on your own domain
Our take. Blotout's EdgeTag is the enterprise option: single-tenant, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA, with 55+ integrations and collection on your own domain. It keeps one persistent identity across sessions and devices. Pricing is by events, from $60 a month, but onboarding support starts on the $400 Growth plan billed annually, and first-party setup needs DNS records.
Larger brands, and health brands, that need single-tenant hosting, HIPAA or many channels.
How it works
Per the EdgeTag product page, it collects first-party data on your domain, keeps one persistent identity, and sends events server-side. Integrations include Meta, Google Ads, Klaviyo, GA4, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest and GCP Pub/Sub. It runs managed or self-hosted, and its getting-started docs cover the DNS records first-party setup needs.
Pricing (October 2026)
Per its pricing page, Starter is $60 a month billed monthly for 100,000 events, self-serve, with $1 per 5,000 events over. Growth is $400 a month billed annually for 3M events, with onboarding support. Professional is $800 a month billed annually for 8M events. Enterprise is quoted. No free trial is listed.
Strengths
Compliance credentials, single-tenant hosting and 55+ integrations.
Limitations
Event-based pricing is harder to predict than per-order pricing. Growth and Professional are billed annually, DNS changes are part of setup, and no trial is listed.
8. Shopify's Meta and Google apps: the free starting point
Our take. Before paying for anything, check what Shopify's own channels already do. The Facebook & Instagram channel is free on all Shopify plans, and at its Enhanced or Maximum data-sharing level it sends purchases to Meta server to server through the Conversions API. The Google & YouTube app is free to install and connects Google Ads for conversion measurement. Each covers one platform, and Meta's server-side event is the purchase only.
Skip it if you advertise beyond Meta and Google, or need events other than purchases sent server-side.
How it works, pricing, strengths and limitations
Best for
Stores that advertise only on Meta and Google and want server-side purchases at no cost.
How it works
In the Facebook & Instagram channel you choose a customer data-sharing level. Standard uses the Meta pixel only, which a browser ad blocker can stop. Enhanced and Maximum add the Conversions API, which sends the purchase event between Shopify's and Meta's servers with the customer's name, location, email and phone for matching, per Shopify's guide to Meta data sharing. The Google & YouTube channel connects Merchant Center, Google Ads and Google Analytics, per Shopify's Google setup guide.
Pricing (October 2026)
Free. Facebook & Instagram by Meta is free on all Shopify plans, subject to store eligibility, per Shopify's help center. Google & YouTube is free to install, built by Google LLC, with 4.5 stars from 5,557 reviews on its Shopify App Store listing.
Strengths
No cost, and built by the platforms themselves.
Limitations
One platform per app, and nothing for TikTok, Pinterest or Klaviyo. Meta's server-side event is the purchase; other events rely on the pixel.
Your team already runs Google Tag Manager well and wants a Shopify data layer to build on.
You need many destinations on one plan: Premium includes 10 and Elite 25.
You're under 100 orders a month, where the Base plan is free.
You want the vendor to install and analyze for you: expert installation is $1,000, and analyst services add $500 or $1,000 a month.
If that's you, the rebrand alone isn't a reason to move. Check that your plan still matches your order volume and destination count, and stay.
How to switch from Elevar
List what Elevar sends today. Note each destination, the events it sends and any custom settings, so you can confirm the new tool sends the same.
Test the new tool before you cut over. Install it and check its events in each platform's test tools, such as Test Events in Meta Events Manager, without connecting it to your live pixel yet.
Move one destination at a time. Meta deduplicates a browser event and a server event only when both carry the same event name and event ID. Two tools sending the same purchase server-side, each with its own ID, are counted twice, which inflates conversions and misleads bidding. Connect the new tool's Meta destination and turn off Elevar's in the same session, then repeat for Google and the rest.
Check Shopify's own Meta channel. If the Facebook & Instagram channel is set to Enhanced or Maximum data sharing, it also sends purchases through the Conversions API. Decide which tool owns server-side purchases so the same order isn't reported twice.
Clean up Google Tag Manager. In the web container, pause or delete the tags, triggers and variables that fire on Elevar's data layer, then publish a new version; GTM keeps earlier versions, so you can roll back. If Elevar's events also pass through a server container, remove those tags and clients too. If GTM held nothing but tracking tags and you're moving to a no-GTM tool, remove the container from your theme.
Remove Elevar's code. Uninstall the app, then check Settings > Customer events in Shopify for a leftover custom pixel, and your theme for leftover scripts.
Compare for two weeks. Match Shopify orders against purchases reported in Meta and Google Ads, and watch Event Match Quality in Events Manager. Our guide to Meta event duplication on Shopify lists the checks.
Frequently asked questions
What happened to Elevar?
In July 2026, Audiense announced a new brand that puts Buxton, Elevar and Audiense under one name. Buxton bought Elevar in 2024 and Audiense in 2025. Elevar is now an Audiense product name, and its conversion tracking is sold as Audiense Online. The Shopify app is still available, listed as "Elevar from Audiense".
Is Elevar now Audiense?
Elevar is now an Audiense product. Its conversion tracking is sold as Audiense Online, with prices on audiense.com, and the Shopify app is listed as "Elevar from Audiense", still published by Elevar, LLC.
Stape vs Elevar: what's the difference?
Stape hosts server-side Google Tag Manager containers and charges by requests: free to 10,000 a month, then $20 a month billed monthly for 500,000. You or an agency build the tags. Elevar gives you a Shopify data layer that feeds GTM, Shopify's Web Pixel and server-side tracking, and charges by orders and destinations, from free at 100 orders to $225 a month for 2,000. Stape costs less at volume if you have GTM skills; Elevar does more of the Shopify-specific work for you.
What is the best Elevar alternative for Shopify?
It depends on why you're leaving. To get away from GTM, Littledata is the closest swap and Upstack Signal adds identity resolution. To keep GTM, Analyzify sets it up for you and Stape hosts it if you build it yourself. For larger brands with compliance needs, Blotout. If you only advertise on Meta and Google, start with Shopify's free apps.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Elevar?
At 2,000 orders a month, Elevar Core is $225 a month with 2 destinations. At the same volume, Shopify's Meta and Google apps are free; Stape's Pro hosting is $20 a month billed monthly, plus the cost of building your tags; Analyzify Standard is $145 billed monthly ($109 billed yearly); WeTracked is $149; Upstack Signal is $249; Littledata Scale is $274; and Aimerce Essential is $399. Blotout prices by events, so it depends on your traffic. Compare destinations too: Elevar Core includes 2, and each extra one is $125 a month.
How does Elevar tracking work?
Elevar adds a data layer to your Shopify store that captures your store's events and feeds them to Google Tag Manager, Shopify's Web Pixel and server-side tracking, which sends them on to your ad, analytics and email platforms. Plans limit how many destinations you can send to: 2 on Base and Core, 4 on Advanced, 10 on Premium and 25 on Elite, with extra destinations at $125 a month each.
Compare Upstack Signal with Elevar
If you're weighing Elevar's GTM-based setup against server-side tracking with identity resolution and no container, see our Upstack vs Elevar comparison, which compares cost at the same order volume, or read how Upstack Signal gets complete events to Meta, Google, TikTok and Klaviyo. Our Event Match Quality guide explains why the identity on each event matters.
