What Upstack sends

Every order reaches Yotpo attached to one customer. Captured on the server, resolved to a person, then sent.

About Yotpo

A review request is worth nothing if it goes to an order with no usable customer.

Upstack resolves the customer on every order before it reaches Yotpo, so the request queue contains the orders that previously fell out of it. Loyalty accrues against one customer record rather than several, so points and tiers reflect what the person actually spent.

What Yotpo is

Yotpo covers reviews, loyalty and SMS for ecommerce brands, with the review program usually the entry point.

Review requests, loyalty accrual and post-purchase messaging all key off a real order and a real customer, not a session that happened to be identified.

How Yotpo works

Yotpo runs post-purchase programs. A review request is scheduled off an order (a set interval after fulfillment) and sent to the email on that order, referencing the specific products bought. Loyalty accrues points against a customer record for purchases and other actions, and SMS runs against the same customer. Everything keys off the order and the customer attached to it, so an order arriving without a resolved customer produces no request.

What you can do with it

Three jobs this connector does inside Yotpo.

01

Send complete conversions

Conversions reach Yotpo through its server-side API with restored click IDs and hashed identifiers attached, so more of what you send is matched on arrival, and the conversions you never saw stop being invisible.

02

Optimize on the customer you want

Map any order attribute to the conversion Yotpo receives (profit rather than revenue, new customers rather than repeat buyers, high-value orders rather than every checkout), so the platform learns from the buyers worth acquiring.

03

Post-purchase on real orders

Review requests and loyalty accrual run against resolved orders and customers, so the right buyer is asked at the right time.

FAQ

Yotpo integration questions.

What does Upstack send to Yotpo?

Enrich post-purchase touchpoints in Yotpo with identity-resolved order data.

How do I check that events are reaching Yotpo?

Open Yotpo › Reviews › the request queue, which should now contain the orders that previously had no email attached.

Which plans include the Yotpo integration?

All plans. Upstack has three plans that scale with your order volume, and the same integrations are on every plan.

Which sources can send events to Yotpo?

12 sources: Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Checkout Champ, Recharge, Custom stack, Funnelish, Lasso Commerce, Phoenix Technologies, Skio, Loop Subscriptions and Stripe. Each one has its own pre-built connector.

Will Upstack slow down my store?

Upstack’s own pixel loads asynchronously and fails silently, so it doesn’t hold up your pages. What each destination adds depends on its Tracking Method. The default, Browser + Server, loads that platform’s own tag on your store, in place of the copy you would otherwise install yourself, and also sends the same events from Upstack’s servers. Choose Server for any destination that offers it and its tag never loads, while its events still arrive from Upstack’s servers.
